The mattress was way too hard for me, I think it was extra firm, which I think is s bit risky for a hotel/guesthouse. maybe offering a softer mattress topper could be nice. not great fir longer stays but for 2 nights was fine. also there is zero sound proofing, there was a man next door on the phone for 3 hours and I could hear every word! luckily I had earplugs with me. there was not a full length mirror in my room.

I personally loved the location because it was so peaceful and I loved being away from the centre at night, however there is no shop or restaurants near by so bear that in mind. The town is 10 mins away by bus and the bus stop is 4 mins walk so really easy. Bus is 1.85 and you can use cash or contactless. I loved the view and birds tweeting in the morning. blackout blinds were great so its pitch black while sleeping! Room and bathroom were both extremely clean and towels replaced which was a nice touch. very friendly hosts. provided an iron for my wedding guest dress. great strong air con. good shower pressure.

Parking could be a challenge. I think it might have to do with people parking around to catch a bus into town. Sometimes easy…OFTEN a challenge. Just had to keep driving in circles to finally catch an open place.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The host was most pleasant. The coffee and breads to go with were a really nice touch.

Pillow is very firm foam. Having a small fridge would have been nice but I know it is not typical in these kinds of places.

Nice, clean, modern space. Our host was excellent, so helpful! Easy ride into San Sebastian on the bus from there. A lovely coffee and cake offering. Highly recommended.

The room door stuck after entering code which was fiddly. Sound proofing was poor - next door taking a shower sounded like in my room, but I wasn't otherwise disturbed, this was low season. I considered walking down to the town in the evening, but the complex network of major dual carriageways between the hotel and town would have made this difficult.

Exceptionally clean and decoration bright, simple and seemed brand new. Coffee room off lobby, I think meant for breakfast - with coffee machine and cakes, I think meant for breakfast, but suited me instead for a pick-me-up on arrival. Although codes emailed for self check-in, owner was very pleasant and patient with me when I struggled with this after a long drive! There was a parking space on the road directly outside the building that was vacated as I arrived and the owner directed me into. Parking is tight in the area, being close to a large hospital I presume, so availability maybe worth checking before arrival.

Check in was easy, the owner waited for us and was nice and clear. The room was spacious enough and very clean. We stayed two nights, on the second day our towels were changed; so the service was also good. Although a bit outside the center, it's a good base to explore San Sebastian. We drove to the city by car, but there are also buslines around the corner. Very safe area also. We would come here again!

The thing i liked less are the electronic locks that are everywhere and the opening with a code may be fiddly, especially if you need glasses. Also, I guess for visitors using public transport, the location is a bit away from downtown but i am sure public transport would work well.

The room is small but not cramped. All the amenities are there and of good quality. I had an excellent sleep. Everything seems new and works perfectly. A big plus is the spacious parking space inside the yard. A coffee maker with capsules and an assortment of cookies and cakes to go with the coffee. Strong wifi. I am sorry i do not recall the name of the host but he is very amable and helpful. I would definitely stay again here when travelling to Donostia by myself or as a couple.

We highly recommend this place. We were on a cycling trip and my husband fell and broke his collarbone. Victor and Guadalupe were incredibly helpful to us as we rearranged our travel plans for return flights. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the hospital but it was very quiet. Great value for a lovely room with such kind hosts.

There weren't many restaurants around and the 2 we could go to were closed. We walked slightly further down the hill to Anoeta and found one with good food and caught the bus back.

The room and facilities were spotlessly clean. It was newly renovated and felt like staying in a luxury room in someone's house. The cake and coffee was a lovely addition. Whilst the location was not central it was a very easy bus ride from central barcelona. The location was quiet and residential. Victor made the check in very easy.
