It’s above a karaoke bar that I think only works on Saturday. You can close the window but at mid August is hard to sleep with the window shut. It was only one night that had a lot of noise.

The Standard room is very small, consider going for the bigger rooms. There is no aircon in the standard room either just a fan, so consider this when booking.

The location in the centre was great. It was round the corner from the train station and handy for the bus station too. It was easy to walk to the beaches, Old Town and Gros. Despite it being a small room, the attention to design detail was good and it was nice to have a period balcony.

Location great. Holiday cut shprt due to a bereavement at home forcing an emergency return. Receptionist was really helpful in helping us sort out some transport back to Bilbao to fly home.

Our room was rather small with limited space to move around or store things.

Room was very well presented and in very good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent with an easy walk to beaches and the old town. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes nearby.

The pension is practically a large apartment with rooms that are made for private usage. Therefore the rooms are not sound proof, especially our room just outside the reception so we could hear everyone checking in and out. The guests were very respectful, however the sounds limit our privacy. Also the bedroom had a 1.5 bed and a single bed, so the double bed was smaller than a double, but it had an extra single bed. It would also be advised to aerate the bedroom more, as it has a strange smell once you get it, but the balcony door helped get it ventilated when we were inside.

The location was very convenient as it was very central but at the same time, in a quiet zone that you can comfortably sleep at night. The parking with which the pension had a collaboration was practically behind our block, so that was definitely a plus. The apartment was clean and spacious (we were placed in the room for disabled without a reason), which guaranteed a big bathroom and a spacious room.

No Aircon (just a ceiling fan) -Bulb in my bedside light was broken (and it didn't get replaced during my stay as they had no spares nor did they buy one) which was a bit of a pain - Very loud building works (piling) from nearby building site on the first morning of my stay but not the Pension/ hotel's fault - Communal mini balcony so had loud late night neighbours outside my window at one point
