The single room was tiny but in line with the photos. The main issue I had was the noise from the doors of the neighbouring rooms which were next to my room (and basically right next to my head with how the bed is positioned). It was ok for a couple of nights if you're on budget but I wouldn't recommend for light sleepers.

The hotel is very well located, directly in the centre yet in a quiet street. The staff were friendly. The rooftop terrace was cute.

We had a room in the basement which was not good. The mattress was really bad as it was only a thick foam. Fortunately, the shared bathroom was cleaned daily.

No air conditioning but with high ceilings and clever ventilation slept really well. Can get some noises from other rooms though.

Amazing place in the perfect place to explore Cadiz. 24 reception is a nice change to some places we stayed so no issues with lock boxes or key pick up. We arrived late after a long day and could buy drinks to cool down on the roof garden.

Pricy parking in Cadiz but 5 minutes walk from the property.

Bathrooms are shared as I knew at time of booking. But toilet paper that was left in toilet vanished. Would be better to leave an amount in each room to take with you to the toilet.

Lovely big comfortable bed, clean sheets and good pillows. tv in room and fan that kept me cool. Roof terrace too. Augustine that checked me in was very helpful and kind, made me welcome and told me of a great nearby cafe for breakfast thank you.

Pensión España is very well run and is a great place to stay in Cadiz. The location is perfect, in the heart of Cadiz and minutes from the cathedral - but in a pedestrian street, so is quiet and peaceful at night. My room had a small balcony, a comfortable bed and pillow. I was there in a heatwave, so the fan in the room was a godsend and helped cool the room down a little. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the wifi is good. The building is beautiful inside and out and is very well maintained. Generally, the pension has a really good atmosphere. Will definitely repeat on my next visit to Cadiz. Great value and highly recommended.

Cheap priced so didn't expect much anyway, but we got the room on ground floor towards the street and without airco, we had to sleep windows open. Naturally over the night we could hear everything from the street.

Super top location, and really beautiful patio. Rooftop terrace deserves all the points. We enjoyed our whole evening watching cathedral from there. You can bring your own drinks and snacks. Also staffs are very kind.

Pension España is an absolutely charming place in a perfect location with really nice and helpful staff. I've been travelling all over Spain and this is definitely the best experience I've ever had. I can only recommend it to anyone and can't wait to stay here again!

Everything was perfect! To make it even more perfect, it would be great to have shampoo and hair conditioners in the showers (not just the soap), and maybe a second pair of smaller towels

Very cozy, clean, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful workers. Beautiful terrace. Our room didn't have AC, but that wasn't a problem at all, the fan was perfectly enough, there was a lot of shadow in the room. Lovely place, well-located. Playa de Santa María del Mar is our favourite beach, just 10 min walk.
