Ideal location, we could enjoy the city fully by walking around, without using our car for several days. Going to the beach by walking was the best.

The room was quite hot during the night (and as it's a central area, we could not open windows because of the noise).

Good room in an excellent location directly across from the best Basque cheesecake in town!

If you're a lighter sleeper I'd recommend packing your earplugs. We had some noise from the street during the night.

Bea is friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Room was very clean. Nice toiletries provided. We enjoyed the small balcony. Good value for money in this part of town.

The room was very small and somewhat stuffy. Open windows helped but had to be closed at night due to street noise.

We were very impressed by this pension. It was excellent value especially for the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the amenities were great. The owner takes pride in the pension - everything has a homely but professional touch. The room was cosy but nicely furnished and decorated, with modern private bathroom and balcony onto the old street. The pension is located opposite the famous La Viña bar so it's very convenient for trying cheesecake at the end of a pintxos bar crawl. It is located in the old town - the area is lively and in the heart of the action (perhaps not for you if you're looking for peace and quiet - morning trash collections are very noisy but no fault of the pension just part of being in the city). Parking was easy at the underground Okendo parking and a discounted ticket can be purchased from the pension. It was a 15 minute walk away. A walk up Urgull (not far from the Pension) provides great views over the city, beach and bay. Hope to stay again.

    Everything was great.

The location .The access to coffee and water in the pension.Although the building was very old the place was spotlessly clean.

The rooms even the "deluxe"were very small. We booked the deluxet as it was the only room described as18m2 with seperate beds (one double and onesingle )We were two friends obligated to sleep together in the double bed cause if we opened the sigle there was no free place to move at all.Only the bathroom was spacious, thus the rerigaretor was placed in there.!

    Property response:

You have to have very little shame to say what you said. We didn't force you to do anything. I personally offered to remove the large bed and replace it with two single beds (give me a little time to make the change), and you refused. NO SHAME.

Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Secure, comfy and good value. Coffee, water etc available. The best Basque cheesecake directly opposite!

    Small room but perfectly adequate.

Awesome location!!!! Step outside and you’re right there in the thick of the old town. And a short walk to the beaches. The host was simply delightful, thanks x

The room we had has an internal view to other buildings so dark, though quiet. We chose not to have this elsewhere, and perhaps would not have selected this one had we known. Cash required for tea and coffee making in the main area. Compact space but consistent with the area / old town. Happy overall though.

Property very close to the centre of the city. Excellent for exploring San Sebastian on foot. Up steep stairs but there was a lift. Host friendly and helpful, arranged easy access to the room via phone call as we arrived during siesta time. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

Dark hallway on ground floor, looked shabby but there was a lift to the guest rooms on the first floor.

Beatrix was brilliant at advising us where to go and what to do. She even left us some Cava in the fridge for our anniversary-what a nice thought. The property is central for everything
