The host was rude in so many ways. First, we requested a check-in at 1:00 rather than 2:00. She approved this request by email. When we arrived at 1:00, she was unwelcoming and stated that we were "early and check in is at 2". She later made a comment to us that she is much happier in the winter when "all of these people aren't in the house".

It was a great location with a fabulous restaurant nearby. The pool was such a nice relief for our tired legs and feet. The beds were comfortable and it was reasonably priced.

It has a POOL! How awesome to dunk into a cold pool to soothe a sore Camino body. Owner was full of info and much fun. Her son’s grilled chicken was superb! Breakfast was good too. Self-serve beer, wine and snacks on the honor system.

There is a barbecue dinner every night that we were looking forward to, but they require 8 reservations which was not met, so we missed the famous barbecued chicken. Not their fault. :-(

This is a beautiful home in and rural setting. The jacuzzi tub was a very nice benefit. The pool wasn't open yet, but looked inviting. The included breakfast was great. So nice to get more than toast and jam.

Since this place used to be a private home, we pretty much had it to ourselves. The house was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. Our host, Almudena, was very accommodating and we really appreciated her warning us in advance about the lack of available restaurants in the area and our options for having food delivered to the place.

Lovely property and enjoyable stay. We had a big balcony in our room with a beautiful view over the pool, the fields and the hills. The paddle in the pool was just what our sore feet needed after a day on the Camino, and the outside seating area was so relaxing. The hosts were delightful; very welcoming and helpful.

There was a guitar! My husband was so happy after 34 days on Camino del Norte without finding one to play. The hosts are lovely and will do all they can to help sort dinner etc. Well stocked honour bar , and pay up the next morning. Breakfast excellent. If you get a chance to eat lunch or dinner at the nearby Cantina Marela you won't regret it... great staff and food sublime... right on the Camino Frances . Very comfortable stay.

It’s like walking to a home away from home. After so many days of walking, I was so grateful for a relaxing soak in the bathtub, a full-sized bed with crisp white linens and the peaceful atmosphere. I stayed here in November so I’m sure my experience was different from those who stay during busy season. Usually there is a pilgrim dinner but since I was the only one staying, the volunteer and I ordered food and had it delivered. She even drove me to a nearby Mercado to make purchases and washed my clothes. ❤️

Home away from home. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was very relaxing sitting by the pool and paddling. Excellent breakfast and hosts even offered a delicious evening meal. It was a great halfway stop between Arzua and Lavacolla with a great restaurant for lunch nearby.
