Its a rely small room. Bathroom sink was tough to use as the mirror above it had a shelf that made it hard to even wash your face over the sink. I think that shelf should be removed. Also, we were woken up at 5 am from noisy guys whi had just come from partying. It ruined our sleep. However we kind of expected it for this area of barcelona.

Location wad perfect right in Placa Reial and staff was friendly. Room was very clean. We booked a double room with extra bed and private bathroom. They cleaned daily and replaced the sheets daily and gave us new towels and toilet roll. Elevator and AC works, which is essential for some people. We liked everything except that it is really small.

The shower didn’t always have hot water. We booked a double, but got two single beds pushed together which often created a gap with the mattress sliding off in the night.

Found a pair of jeans under the dresser when I was searching for the second cockroach I saw. First one I flushed down the toilet . He/she was the size of my thumb! Also bring earplugs if you have a room on the square the noise last late into the night…..24:00-01:00 and the crews cleaning up and delivering are their bright and early.

The lack of a refrigerator. The elevator was off after midnight and we needed to climb several flights of stairs. A very soft smell of humidity/mold from the wallpaper.

It was at a central location and made it easy for us to go around, albeit a not so decent neighborhood especially at night.

Cons of this hotel: The room lacked two basic essentials: an electric kettle and a hair dryer—something we've never encountered in any other hotel. Without a kettle, we had to purchase tea daily, spending €9 for two medium cups of black tea—the most expensive we've ever had. Unfortunately, the hot water dispenser in the hallway was also out of order. The absence of a hair dryer was inconvenient, and the furniture left much to be desired. The desk chair was broken at the base and had no cushioning—it felt like sitting on a wooden plank. The large cushioned chair in the room had a large, unsightly stain, making it unusable for sitting or even placing our belongings. Overall, the room furnishings were outdated and in need of replacement. The Wi-Fi connection was very unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. The bathroom also had issues: the sink never produced hot water, and the shower temperature fluctuated drastically with the slightest adjustment, switching from scalding hot to freezing cold. Due to these inconveniences, we would not consider booking this hotel again in the future.

Pros of this hotel: The location is excellent—right at Plaça Reial, a vibrant and bustling square full of activity. Our room had a balcony overlooking La Rambla, offering a great view of people passing by, even in the early morning hours. Although the room was small, it was sufficient since we spent most of our time exploring the city. Housekeeping was outstanding, with fresh towels and toiletries provided daily. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of many major tourist attractions, which helped us save on transportation costs. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the famous Boqueria Market is just a short walk away.

Room was not exceptionally clean. Floors were dirty. Balcony furniture was rusty and uncomfortable to sit on. No TV but we weren’t in the room much.

We could not get wifi in our room. My husband went one floor down and sat in a passage to get wifi.

Unfortunately there was no breakfast and good wifi But it was cheap and very basic but Fantastic Location and friendly staff. They kept our baggage till we went to airport. Loved the location!

I want for a tradeshow and the price was well too high for the standard of the Pension. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was great, right in the center and close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and caring, especially the lady. Although our room was small, it was very comfortable and clean, our towels were changed every day and new shampoos were provided. What we liked most was the view from our room. If I came again, I would like to stay here again.
