How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A lovely hotel. Very clean and bright. Our host was excellent. A big room for the 4 of us and a massive bathroom. We will stay again.

Our ocean view room faced the Main Street into Fisterra so there was a constant stream of traffic. This was ok when the window was closed. Unfortunately since there was no Air Conditioning our room was hot. 25°C overnight, we tried to keep the window open to cool off but the constant traffic was too much. We had to leave after one night. Get a room NOT on the Main Street. It’s also a drive into the main city center.
Staff were great. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was typical Spanish style. Bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, coffee juice, pastries.

The advertising photos of the spa is misleading. Use of the spa is not included with room rental and the spa facilities are not in the same building as the hotel! The spa is across the street in a separate location. The idea of a hotel spa after walking the Camino to Finisterre is what drew us to the hotel.
Clean, modern facilities. Very helpful staff.

The air conditioning didn't work. There was an additional per session charge of €18 to use the spa next door. The spa is not part of the hotel. Pricey for a solo traveller. Breakfast was basic.

The breakfast isn’t great. No eggs.
Super clean, great size of room, wonderful private balcony looking at the beach. The highlight was the super helpful receptionist, Morgana. She is delightful, kind, hard working and really made my stay great.

The fact that there was no spa as shown in images and that I feel we were misled I believe that they are falsely advertising facilities not on the premises and shoiuld one wish to use it you should pay more money No mentions made

The restaurant used to serve a wonderful dinner meal( when we stayed here previously). No longer open except for nice breakfast. We were disappointed to have to walk into town for dinner.
Wonderful breakfast! Nice rooms but heater was non functioning upon arrival soaking wet , cold rainy day. The staff got it working by that evening which was much appreciated!

The hotel is about 1,5 km out of town, shorter along beach which is rather big and appx 200m from hotel. Room was quite spacy and had a nice veranda, bathroom good size too. Breakfast was very good, lots of cakes, fresh baguettes and croissants. Nice personnel.

Red poofy velvet pillows and bed spread were very dated and more appropriate for an old home not hotel. Not close walking distance from old Town Port and restaurants.
Clean quiet location close to beach and Camino. Breakfast was good value for 6€. Great to have full toiletries provided. Staff were all very professional.

It is on a busy main road - which is noisy with the window open and a long hot walk from where the bus from Santiago drops you off - although there’s a nice boardwalk option along the beach!
The proximity to the beach ( although it is a good walk from Finisterre town in the heat !) staff and quality of food were excellent.

The bedclothes wrre a little bit outdated. It has nothing spectacular. It is just a place to sleep.

It’s old and a I don’t think not even 20inch tv in 2023 is just not from this time.
Location and definitely the 50% off in the spa next door! Also the recommendations for things to do from the staff where great! If you go don’t miss the boat trip!
