Excellent location, amazingly kind host.

Santilla del mar is a very nice old town and this accommodation was very lovely and nearby the old town. It provided some parking availabilities, which is a plus compared to other hotels directly in the old town. The owner was very nice and offered information. The interior is (on purpose) a bit outdated (flower sheets for the bed) but it was comfortable and the bathroom very nice with a big rain shower and nice tiles. I would recommend booking this accommodation and stay there again when visiting this village.

The village was very mediocre, but the hotel owner consulted us on how to go to the beautiful mountains Picos de Europa and also to a beautiful village on the seaside, we are very thankful for his advise, those places were outstanding!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Parking is offered. The hotel is Just a very short walk to the Plaza Mayor. The owner does everything he can do to make our stay in his hotel and the town an incredible experience. You'll love Santilla del Mar and all of its charm. I highly recommend you stay in the Posada. You won't be disappointed.

Great Posada, nice breakfast and a very helpful owner. There was a "clasico" on TV and I was invited to see it down in the ground floor, but had to sleep due to a long walk on the Camino.

The property is located less than 5 minutes from the town centre, bars and restaurants. Easy parking next door to the property. Room was comfortable with good shower and bathroom and good-sized double bed. Johnny was very helpful. We arrived late expecting to be unable to book a restaurant however Johnny contacted the Grande Duche, the number one rate restaurants in the town where the food met our expectations. Johnny very pleasant to deal with and will definitely book again.

Beautiful property close to the heart of Santilliana. We were made to feel very welcome and were given plenty of helpful information as to what we might do and enjoy in the town and area. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, the room well equipped, clean and comfortable. On another occasion I would happily consider a longer stay. We were able to park directly opposite the Posada. On departure again we were offered help and advice as to what we might enjoy on our onward journey.

My only problem would be that the walls in our room were unable to contain the noisy conversation of our neighbours. They appeared to be hard of hearing with their voices very loud and the volume on their TV even louder. Thankfully they were asleep by 11pm.

Lovely hotel full of character and a very friendly host who gave great restaurant recommendations.

Beautiful building with nice rooms and good location ( and parking!) Z Juanjo on the desk was excellent and very helpful inc suggesting places to visit along the coast. I would def go back. Great price too fir the accommodation
