Hotel dimly lit and dark decor. Stair access only. Bar doesn’t open in evening (even Saturday in June). It was quite a trek to the main square for a drink but it is great along the river. Included breakfast very mediocre.

Bathroom door didn't close. Not a lot of places to eat around but it was a short walk to the center anyway.

Good standard facilities for the price. Easy to find. We went on a motorcycle and had on street parking. Only slight problem was the bar closed at 4pm so had to look elsewhere for food.

We booked this hotel to take a break driving from the north of Spain to the south, attracted by the town's association with the windmills from the Don Quixote novel. The hotel was basic, clean, great shower, friendly host - everything you need for a one night stay. Bathroom and bedroom were both spacious.

I loved everything about this place- I only didn’t realize that the front of the building advertises the restaurant and not the hotel and that you have to ring the bell at the door on the patio. This was probably communicated to me by the place in an email that I didn’t read.

I love the simplicity of the rooms, all the stone and wood was so soothing. It was the closest I have ever come to the experience of being in an old-inn with rooms upstairs and a pub downstairs.

I booked on booking .com said check-in from 12 till 12 got there at 1ppm all locked up rang the number got abuse basically so then had to sleep in my car and they still took the money

Was travelling from France to Malaga, wanted something a little different to the usual motel/motorway stopovers and was not disappointed... The whole place was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Location is a rural village approx 2l5 mins off the main road, quiet when I stayed but the it was early Nov and out of season, may be different during summer. Room could not be faulted and was a total contrast to the aforementioned motels. Really really happy, will definitely stay again.

Bed was ok but bedlinen was substandard. Bathroom mat was very dirty, towels old and threadbare and lighting in bathroom above sink was inadequate. Breakfast was non existent. No menu, nothing laid out, served in the bar area and WE HAD TO ASK WHAT WAS AVAILABLE. Choice was toast with small container each of olive oil and tomato or a cake ! One cup of coffee each. The cost of breakfast as charged was greater than the price we would have paid by ordering separately as a bar customer! We had to collect everything from the bar counter ourselves. Reception desk and office totally cluttered and untidy. Not businesslike in any way. Our room view was on to the fire escape courtyard which would have been ok if it was not dirty and cluttered with old plants, dirty washing and cleaning materials. Restaurant closed. You may wonder why we stayed but in Consuegra there is not a lot of choice and after a 4 hour drive in a strange place we may not have found anything. In all the years of using Booking.com I have never posted a bad review but this hotel does nothing for Booking,com's reputation.

beds were bad and the first room we got smelled like a bar, cigarette smoke and it was supposed to be a smoke free place. had to switch rooms and the owners were not happy about it.

Stuffy room over a loud bar. Opening windows for some air brought with it dust, flies, street noises, traffic, trucks, and evening revelers. Wakened early on a Sunday morning to loud bass booming as someone celebrated their birthday with their pals in the bar and we were invited to eat our prepaid breakfast with them.. our waitress was polite but another rudely yelled at us while we waited in the restaurant section to use the bathroom.
