How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The hotel needs some updates and improvements, but nothing critically bad.
Quite dated facilities, but ok for for a couple of nights. The location is good, the parking was available. The staff was nice.

Bearing in mind the cost can't find anything.
Olga and the reception staff were very helpful. Comfortable bed,good shower and within close proximity to local bars.Free secure parking for motorbikes on weekdays.

Good location close to the center, friendly and helpfull staff, good breakfast for such a price and good value for the price in the general. The only problem was full garage, had to find a space in the neighborhood which was uneasy on Friday evening.

Bathroom very cramped and toilet impractically installed. Definitely not recommended for anyone significantly overweight or with limited flexibility. Also shower required stepping up and over into hip bath. In very uninteresting district of town.

The front of the toilet was situated very close to the wall so no room to sit properly on it, I just fit with my knees touching. If I were a bigger person i wouldn't have fitted!
I liked the luggage rack and that you could open the window. It was very comfortable for a one night stay in a single room with all the basic touches.

It took them 4 hours to comprehend that my worry about the heating in the room not working was genuine. And then kind of made a plan for an alternative but not a good one. Better stay in this place in summer
They paid me a compliment assuming that I will take part in the city marathon

Some other annoying travelers. They made of the main hall their meeting area, talked really loudly even past midnight, and made a lot of noise. This made it hard to sleep at first, since my room stood near the hall.

Really noisy. You can hear all the noises from the rooms around you.
It offered all the basics you need. When you're on a city trip, you don't stay in your hotel. So you only want a good bed and a clean bathroom. It offers just that at an unbeatable price.

Could do with extra pillows in the room in case you like more than 1 to sleep on.
Great hotel in a good location for sightseeing. Only about 15 minutes walk to the town but lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good sized bathroom. The staff were really nice and incredibly helpful. The parking garage was easily accessible with good sized parking spaces.

At least at the ground floor even the mobile connection was very poor and the wifi didnt work at all. Breakfast is poor, its better to eat outside.
Location right between the station and the city centre, comfy bed.

Columbus weekend it was more expensive than I would have liked. Other times it is probably good value. Parking for a motorcycle is the same price as for a car, yet put in a smaller space. That annoyed me.
No issues with the hotel. Very helpful staff.
