The location is incredible. The view amazing and a short stroll to the beach made an afternoon swim after a long travel day, wonderful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We loved everything about our stay. The sunrise incredible.

Location, Location, Location - worth the extra for the sea view even though the weather during our 1 night stay was not the best. being Summer...the restaurant was open - good even if not a huge menu to choose from (understandable in this location). Overall we were very happy to stay one night here - most especially since the staff were friendly and helpful.

The view from the room was amazing - overlooking the sea with phenomenal views from everywhere. We arrived later than expected and so ended up having dinner in the restaurant in the hotel which was lovely - simple but tasty and excellent value for money. Staff were very helpful. A wonderful stay and I will be back.

The best ocean view you’re going to get! We loved the opportunity to walk along the beach side in the evening and morning. You can access the beach and also a lovely paved path just above it that stretches for kilometres both ways

What I missed is an armchair to sit and read but it's not a major issue. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown, no fresh vegetables (there was some fruit), limited option for bread (but good quality). Note for dog owners: the dog beach is a good 15-20 min walk, the corner of the last beach. It's a bit small but was not crowded in June.

As shown in the photos, it's right on the beach, the location can't get better. Note: the waves are naturally loud. 😎 The jacuzzi was bigger than expected, working very well. It takes almost an hour to fill up, plan accordingly, but totally worth it. The shower is also great, water pressure was adequate. Bed was very comfortable. Very pet-friendly, nothing extra but the general acceptance of dogs everywhere was great.

The restaurant was closed for dinner. This was not mentioned at the time of booking, which was disappointing given the relative isolation of the hotel, away from towns.

What a find! This place has to be one of the best locations you'll find anywhere. We had a balcony overlooking the sea and the view was unbelievable. The lady who welcomed us and looked after us, Maritsa, was so lovely and helpful. The room was clean and had all we needed. Everything was brilliant.

Construction seemed basic. Elevator didn’t work… bathroom design was cramped. Very university dorm feel.

Ocean view is amazing! Very comfortable and cozy room. Terrace was great to sit and watch and listen to the waves. Breakfast was great. Beach access was superb.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

The facilities and room were lovely as well as being right on the ocean. It was very cool to look out of our second floor balcony and have the sea directly below us. The sound of the waves crashing was restful as well.

Breakfast was not exceptional. If we had wanted an evening meal we would have been disappointed. Very few power sockets in the room.

Excellent location for an overnight if you are travelling to or from the main ferry ports of Bilbao and Santander.

Whilst everything was very clean and tidy, it would benefit from refreshing, as often seaside properties do. Our room had nightlights we couldn't turn off.

The views are breathe taking and the staff made our wedding anniversary very special. Good food and great location.

Nothing. More so it was my own negative associaties with the restaurant combo but in september it was not an issue at laast.

Friendly helpfull staff in the restaurant downstairs and a stunning view upstairs. It might be a bit of an unusual place at first glancde (because of the seafood restaurant and hotel combo) but it is actually the place where I had the best views and best night sleep during a long roadtrip. The fact that the rooms weren't quiet (as shownieuws in my reciew) is actually not a form of critisism. What makes this place so great is that - once you have a room fading towrds the sea - that you want it to be loud is the sense that you can hear the waves crashing in. The sounds of the waves and the wind, for me, was the most calming aspect of this place. Great for a proper stop during a long trip (and dont forget to take the monkfish-stew, it is good).

One long pillow instead of 2 separate pillows was uncomfortable. The flooring was warped due to a moisture problem. Parking can be a bit tight in high season. The breakfast selections were very minimal and basic.

Spectacular ocean and beach views with easy access to several beaches. Great views of the water from the whole room. Ocean breeze kept it cool. Staff friendly and spoke decent English. We walked along a walking trail overlooking the beaches and neighborhood. It was very pleasant.

Rainy weather on the first day. But I don't think I can blame them for that. :-)

Nice hotel with fabulous views (get the sea view) and a balcony to sit out on. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Restaurant has a simple menu with good food at very good prices. Staff were excellent and particularly helpful with a non hotel related issue.

The aircondition was not working properly, so the only option was to have the window open (thankfully it was not hot outside).

The staff was very helpful and communicated well via multiple channels. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, the location is amazing, being right on the beach. It was amazing to hear the ocean roaming the whole night while having the balcony open. However, to some people this might be actually disturbing and since the aircondition was not working properly, it was the only option. The hotel is older and the equipment is basic, but it was definitely worth the location. Everything was clean. Breakfast was limited but enough and it was taken on a nice sunny terrace overlooking the ocean.

We were hoping that the restaurant would be open but it was very off season and the lady was able to advise on local restaurants so this wasn't a problem.

The welcome was excellent. Although their restaurant was closed we were quickly directed to restaurants in the area. Breakfast was very good. We were upgraded to a sea view which was stunning. Lots of walks along the coast and beach nearly on the door step!!

The person at reception spoke good English and gave us a recommendation for a festival in Santa Cruz where we found real ethnic music. It was great! The place was clean and comfortable, the food good, and it was right on the beach!
