Found a cockroach in the bathroom on the first morning, told reception and they sent maintenance who put down traps, no more after that. There's an exposed walkway to get to and from the apartment which made my disabled brother very scared and nervous when we had to go out or come back to the apartment. I tried asking for a lower ground floor but they were all booked out. We had no choice but to stay there with him edging slowly along as if he was scaling mount everest.

Other residents being so loud and noisy during the early hours no respect what so ever. Apartment was more dated then photos showed. Only one could shower as water went cold too quickly. Would stay again if with other adults not kids

Location of hotel being close to everything. Shop right underneath. Fox and hound Restaurant underneath was amazing. Pool was OK but is to all pool. Nice full size fridge washer and hob.

No kettle or coffee machine, the combi microwave was rubbish, AIRCON BROKEN. Couldn't check in until 5pm then waiting in a queue for over 30mins.

Apartment was spacious, beds were very comfortable. Location was good as short drive from airport and within walking distance to everything.

The interior hallways were like a cell block. Walkways crumbling. Heras fencing up in places to stop access. Water in shower was only hot for five minutes so everyone had to stagger the times of their showers.

The apartment had the bare minimum you needed, and anything else you might want came at an additional charge. We had to pay a non-refundable €10 for use of a kettle. It would have been cheaper to just buy one at the market down the road. We also had to pay €1 per bag for use of the luggage storage room. The apartment appeared clean, but after walking around for half an hour, our socks were becoming visibly dirty. The air con didn't appear to work and there was a constant smell of cigarettes coming from other balconies.

We were really happy with the price. We didn't feel like we needed an accomodation with frills so this fit the brief perfectly. We loved how close to the beach and PortAventura we were as these were the purpose of our visit to Salou. The staff were helpful and spoke English and reception is 24hrs which was ideal for our late arrival and departure. There was plenty of space in the apartment and we had everything we needed for a 3 night stay.

Pool was not heated so some days it was like taking an ice bath 😂 but once you got used to it it was fine. A cockroach in the room on arrival but i wasn’t too bothered as i didn’t see one again.

The pool area always kept clean by Raffy. Location was great and lovely restaurant underneath called the fox and hound. Brilliant staff.

No Toaster ??? had to rent one??? Air con was poor, maybe it was just our room but had to rent a fan at reception? No way to get towels or sheets changed!!! This was a big negative as we headed into the second week especially. There was no laundry facility were you could even do it yourself!! Our apartment faced out on to the pool area and main street which at first we thought was lovely......but then night fell...oh my god the noise from traffic etc...padio doors might as well have been wide open...!! got used to it in the end though

The staff on reception were not helpful one in particular, we arrived at 9.15am we stated we would be at the apartment from 10am and offered to pay for early check in but were not allowed to check in till 5pm it’s a long day of travelling was really hot and we couldn’t access our room to get showered or changed or use the pool as we were not dressed for the pool. We notified that we wanted early check in weeks before our arrival , the apartment could have been cleaner

Quite nervous going here after reading reviews but honest opinion, was perfect for us, apartment clean, no kettle but took my own, perfect location 3 min walk to beech and bars although underneath us is the brown cow and fox and hounds, pool area clean and always had a sun bed, only down fall was the students partying till early hours it was really loud but the guy at the fox and hounds who’s really helpful by the way told us between May and beginning July students come so try book mid July onwards, got my deposit back after 3 days 👌 will be back 😊

Towels not changed in a week or room cleaned in that time, quite discusting when there's four in a room. Safe didn't work twice and at one point had to wait 1 and a half hours for it sorting. Reception area unorganised little staff and large queues

Avoid • No bowls for cereals, poorly stocked apartment • Bathroom had strong unpleasant smell, unsafe utilities • Sheets and towels were dirty and stained • Broken glass left on floor – child cut foot • Floors dirty, grime and human hair everywhere • Sunbeds covered in green mould • Human faeces left in the pool – staff ignored report • Balcony rail extremely loose and dangerous • Glass also at bottom of pool • No visible or available staff on site
