We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere were ants in every room, the en-suite had a bad smell that we could not get rid of, and was told it was because the sealant around the toilet had perished. The outdoor fridge was mouldy and needed cleaning before use. The sauna was locked so we could not use this facility. The jacuzzi also had a very bad smell, which after emptying and cleaning was still there. The pool had bits in it which also needed to be cleaned. The outdoor tiles are not level which caused some of us to trip up and cut our feet which is dangerous.
Good location, plenty of space, outside cooking area was great.

For a villa in this price range nothing supplied for guests on arrival you don’t expect a fully stocked kitchen but not even a drop of water, grain of salt or any basic cleaning products, equipment in kitchen pretty basic 3 mugs 1 of which was chipped lucky there wasn’t 8 of us

United KingdomService, management, cleanliness and provision of contents. Had to wipe down the kitchen but no cloth etc provided, we had to buy basics. Hot water was dark brown, boiler had to be changed. En suite bathroom smelled as no window or extractor. Bedside lights plugged straight into socket with no switch. Only 3 mugs (one chipped), 7 knives and 13 coathangers in a villa for 8 people. Asked for TV in living room but put in bedroom where there is no socket. Top step of the ladder into pool is broken. Lid broken off sanitary bin in bathroom. Late notification of extra charges for hot tub, pool etc. Understand as cost of electricity, but when we messaged that we would not be using the hot tub it was not switched off to save energy. Needed especially as the lid kept blowing open. All door locks very stiff so worried keys might break - we treated with WD40 to resolve. This is a villa at the top end of price range so we expected better.
A spacious villa, super enclosed verandah and living room in a quiet area with views over the golf course so looking at green, trees and flowers. A very good main bathroom. The largest swimming pool we've seen at any villa (though not 'Olympic').

United KingdomWe arrived late at night near no shops and not to our knowledge it was the start of a 3 day public holiday. This was problematic in finding shops open for food and water and limited taxis. With small children in our party some essentials like water left in the villa would have been appreciated greatly, or even advance notice of such holidays to bring some water and food from airport. The property was dated and not as clean as it should be and a lot of things we felt unable to use due to this. There was a smell in the bathroom drains which was reported to the owners and although they said someone looked at this while we were out this issue was not fixed therefore the property was left with a smell the full stay and the en-suite was not usable due to this. The main bathroom was not clean and the bath could not used the bath due to this it also had screws and rust within it. The hot tub filters had not been cleaned therefore the water was stagnant therefore out of use for us too. Again this was reported but never fixed. The sauna advertised was never working. Out of order when we arrived until we left. The overall cleanliness of the property was a huge disappointment which is a shame because it could be a lovely villa to enjoy.
The property was large and great area of space however the property was dated and in need of a freshen up.

United KingdomThe hot tub was new / very nice but we struggled to get it to temperature each evening (might be a control issue). The villa did not have aircon but each room had a fan which did the job.
The Villa is large with lots of seating areas, and the pool was warm. The outside dining area with BBQ and oven were excellent. The villa was excellent value for money and the hosts were helpful.

United KingdomThe property is nice but it does need some moderation. Brits love a mug of tea so I bought some and left them there as there were none. It’s a little too far to get anywhere without using a car or getting taxis.
The pool was really beautiful and it really is huge!

United KingdomWe booked the villa on the basis that the pool could be heated, happy to pay the charge of 20 euros per day, when we asked for it to be heated we were told it was not possible at all. The jacuzzi was not working when we arrived, just cold water with a few jets working, after 5 days this was repaired but each time we used it the next day the water turned green, they came out and all they did was drain it and filled it up again, 3 times this happened, we gave up using it. The sauna was not working the whole time we were there. The steps into the pool were wobbly. The villa is very dated, the kitchen equipment is old, only 2 mugs and 2 pans. The headboards to the beds weren’t attached and the door handle on one of the rooms was broken. In our opinion this was not worth the £2800.00 we paid for it, we were very disappointed.
The location.

United StatesWe loved everything about this place! The only things I will put here are some things people may want to consider before staying here (but they are by no means anything that would prevent me from staying here again). The pool was ice cold and it wasn't possible to be heated at the time we went (which was in January, so a cold pool is expected & it was still very refreshing after a long run in the sun). Because the villa is on a golf course, it looks closer to the beach on a map than it actually is because you can't cut through the golf course, but rather have to go around it in order to get to the beach. It's approximately a 45 minute walk to get down to the beach area; however, Varsha hooked us up with a bike rental company where we were able to rent bikes for the week, which made our commute to the beach only 15 minutes!
We absolutely LOVED our stay this villa!! Not only was the villa itself wonderful, but it was our guest relations manager, Ms. Varsha, that took our stay to the next level. We had her contact information on Whatsapp so could quickly and easily text her with any questions we had during the stay. She was always very quick to respond and provide very helpful information/solutions. For example, we didn't rent a car so were looking into options of how to get around and Varsha sent us a number of options to consider (bikes/golf carts/car rentals). Not only did she provide us with the contact information of these places, but she also called them herself beforehand to explain what we were looking for and to expect us. Another example of the amazing hospitality Varsha showed us was when we wanted to go on a boat day trip at the last minute. We decided on a Thursday morning that we wanted to go on Friday & Friday was a huge holiday in Spain (bigger than Christmas). Initially Varsha found that all of the tours operating that day that her company usually works with were already fully booked, but that didn't stop her! She ended up calling a number of other options and found us a boat, which ended up being SO FUN. (Highly recommend doing the private boat tour to lobos during your stay, it was wonderful). She even picked up Dramamine for us when we realized we forgot it & were already in a taxi to the boat & covered that charge. Above & beyond!!! The villa was also so great. The sauna & jacuzzi were amazing to have. We were a group of 6 adults and the villa comfortable accommodated all of us. Well stocked kitchen, tons of different areas to hang out as a group (I think there were 3 dining tables that accommodate 6+). It was truly the perfect place for a group. They were also very very flexible with our check-in/check-out times which was really nice. We already can't wait to stay here (or at any other Amazzzing Travel property)...
