Location was great, super close to center. The facilities were clean and well supplied. Staff was super nice and helpful, spoke English and Spanish. Shared room (hostal) but there was a women's room and a mixed room so you could decide.

Staff were weirdly strict about rules - unlike any other hostel i have been to: even though i was alone with one other girl - who i was on great terms with btw.- in the whole hostel, I was neither allowed to bring one friend from outside nor to hang out in the lobby after check-out (it was raining! :( ) Also they couldn't speak any English and sold overpriced coffee. Overall that's just not the way to create a nice hostel vibe.

It's a lovingly decorated and beautiful hostel that located in the center of the city. The staff was very friendly and spoke Englisch very well so it was easy to communicate. Especially the terraces were very nice places to hang out. It had a great atmosphere, perfect to meet people. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped.

Beds weren't very comfortable, the rooms were too small for so many people. There were some holes on the walls of the room, which made insects come and go as they pleased.

The hostel was fully booked for carnaval since December, so I couldn't extend my stay and had to leave when carnaval officially began. :'( The lockers are small and only fit small valuables, so I had to put my backpacks on the floor between the beds. The problem was when the hostel was full and everyone put their luggage on the floor, then the room became a mess. So it would be better with bigger lockers. The provided blankets are too thin for winter, and on my first night I felt too cold. Then they gave me 2 blankets and that solved the problem.

The staff is just wonderful. I'll miss you... <3 The hostel is located right in the middle of the old town, and all points of interest in Cádiz are within walking distance, as well as supermarkets and laundromats. Some pasacalles (carnaval street parades) passed through our street next to the hostel door, I could hear them play and go out to join them. :) I love the old house with the azulejos, the well and the terrace. The kitchen it very well equipped. The new Wi-Fi is excellent. They replaced the provider during my stay, because the old one was horrible and disconnected all the time, but the new one works perfectly. They clean the place several times a day, and it's really clean.

The hostel staff were so lovely. They could all speak very good Spanish and English. They were all friendly and made a very big effort to make all the guests feel comfortable. Rachel, Emily, Jimena and Corinna were all lovely hostel staff. The owner is very great too!

There were only two bathrooms for the entire hostel, which, granted, is pretty small.

The courtyard and rooftop are pretty, and the beach is less than a 10 minute walk away.

The staff were exceptional in looking after my safety and very friendly. It was only a short walk to the beach and the cathedral and centre of town. There were good cooking facilities and the lounge and terrace were charming.

It was great overall, but was bit chilly and the blanket provided was pretty thin and no heater was in the room. Icing on the cake would be a towel as well, as that is one thing that never seems to dry as you travel!

Great location. Clean. Had a great kitchen STOCKED with shared spices. Staff were always available and on site. Comfy bed. Hot shower that drains well. Shampoo and soap provided. Toilet paper always available. Helpful volunteer keeping the place clean. Clear, fun rules to keep folks respectful of one another. Didn’t check out the terrace but they had one.

Only the location. A girl Emilia tried in a very rude way to kick me out from accommodation exactly at 12 o'clock, but I spoke in advance with another lady who said that I can stay in the common areas 1 extra hour. I was awake at 5:30 from the neighbouring room where Emilia and some other ladies live from their loud talks and not switching off the lights in their room. This people contribute for very unfriendly environment and I don't recommend the place. Sorry for my honest review but that was the experience. I didn't feel welcome.

Room is small and cluttered and hot, and the streets are quite noisy with trucks passing by at night. Maybe good to have more privacy even in the shared rooms (curtains for example)

The room was really dark without natural light in it. One of the bunk beds was really unstable and unsafe and you couldn’t really sleep because of the loud noises. Regarding cleanness, everything was filthy and smelly, specially the bathrooms.

Location was great and the manager was very helpful with us. He let us stay a day before our reservation date and has been very kind to us.
