Lovely place - however this is not a hotel but a large country house with one charming housekeeper, who speaks no English. Almost impossible to find as there is no signage at all from the road, and satnav takes up a dirt track (what3words would be helpful!). My car squeezed through the entrance gateway with 2cm to spare. Nice driveway to an imposing Spanish manor house. Deserted and no other cars. My wife and I felt like Brad and Janet from the Rocky Horror show as we knocked on the huge door. The housekeeper was a delight and we bumbled through. Room was huge, bed a little hard, shower cupboard a joke, and certainly no air conditioning (there was one tiny portable fan). No food served at all, and only a coffee pod machine for breakfast. We were the only guests....The pool for a midnight swim was gorgeous. No Wi-Fi. Toledo is very close by and fabulous

Funnily enough no negative comments - not what we expected but a rather nice interesting experience

Fantastic historical property set just out of Toledo. Very tranquil and pool was fantastic to cool off. Staff were very welcoming.

No negatives as had read previous reviews and knew what to expect

We had a reservation and pre-paid our stay. When we arrived to the property the gate was closed and they did not answer the phone. We had to find another hotel. Very bad experience.

The villa is absolutely beautiful with a lot of history, original decor, very clean and comfortable, it is like staying in a living museum. Absolutely a very unique experience. The lady working there was very helpful and sweet, she made us feel like being at home and made the whole experience even better.

Amazing location! Great customer service! The terrace and backyard make it even better. And they offer parking which is wonderful and makes it easy to travel. Highly recommended.

Our expectations of the Hacienda were exceeded. We wanted a different more personal experience than you get in a large luxury hotel and this certainly delivered on its promise of guests feeling like they were living in their own palace. The hacienda is simply stunning. Grand, yet welcoming, with an ambience of understated glamour and impeccable style. Alina,, the housekeeper, is simply delightful. We had a very warm welcome, and she was attentive to our every need, even lighting a fire in our beautiful bedroom suite. When we arrived, we met a charming family on the entrance to the hacienda. We had a lovely chat, and it transpired they were the owners of the hacienda (Gemma Fernandez) . We were delighted to meet such a lovely family who have a passion for creating a very special sanctuary. You can see the beauty of the building, but you must visit to feel the ambience that surrounds the house and grounds. Other reviews have mentioned they found it difficult to find from GPS. We put the Hacienda name into Waze navigation app and we got straight there with no problem. Also we loved the fact that to access the venue, you drive along a track through the olive groves. The track was a little bumpy but very easy to drive safely in a fully loaded car.

    Nothing.

The house and especially the staff (Alina is great)

The access description is not clear, signs would help and the road really needs work
