How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewAmazing place, we felt as if we are in private villa. Not crowded even it was fully booked. Delicious food in the restaurant, home made breakfasts at the terrasse , extremely nice and attentive staff and the owners ( Julia, Julio , Christina, Saskia, Gonzalo - super chef ♥️♥️♥️). A nice , cozy beach 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Verified reviewBeautiful and quiet hotel with lovely, helpful staff. The whole vibe is very relaxed and convenient. The place was kept very clean. A great breakfast too. Also Paguera is a nice town. It's touristy with all the usual stuff but it's not overdeveloped. This hotel is perfect for exploring the local areas.

Verified reviewSuch a peaceful and relaxing stay..The hotel is beautiful and has everything you need for an amazing stay. Only a few minutes walk to the main strip. The food was amazing and we ended up eating at the hotel on many occasions. The staff are all lovely and looked after us very well.. We will miss our sangria's and pina coladas by the pool!

Too many steps up and down to get to the room. Room very dated . Thin grey towels Fridge will only work if you pat 3 euro a day. Seems very petty and unnecessary . No kettle in room. Breakfast quite limited
Dear Barbara, thank you for spending your time to evaluate our hotel. Sometimes, especially in summer months, some steps to the room might seem too much due to the heat. This is the only explanation that I find for you being unhappy with the room on the secoond floor. Due to our architectural specifics, hotel will never be able to have an elevator, and it is written in our webpage description. usually, before making a reservation we all read the descriptions of a place)) I would allow myself and remind you that the price you paid was for a room and breakfast in a 2star hotel, kettles are not an obligation, although, you could ask for hot water in our restaurant from 07.30 in the morning until almost midnight every day. Our limited breakfast includes: eggs made upon your order according to your liking and with various fillings , not a cold fired egg waiting for you on the cooking surface, bacon or sausages to accompany the eggs, various types of bread, homemade cake every morning, dry fruits, a traditional spanish pie with veggies, various fruits, 2 types of vegetables, 4 types of cold meat cuts, 4 types of chees, pate, butter, margarine, yoghurts, honey, 3 types of jam, 3 types of cereals, 2-3 types of cookies, home made marinated salmon alternating with jamon serrano several times per week, unlimited coffee from a real restaurant coffee machine brought to your table, juices, water, spanish sparkling wine (daily), and on Fridays we have a mallorquín day, with various cold cuts from the island. I am really sorry that you were not able to find enough during these breakfasts. On the other hand, there are many 4-5 star hotel on the island, there you will find everything that you missed in a 2 star hotel. But then, there is a very different price to be ready to pay. We have big fridges in our rooms, they are not mini-bar coolers, but a machine with enough space for any type of food for guests who stay longer, there are freezers in every fridge, this is why , to not make the price higher, we made it an optional service. thank you.

Verified reviewThis is the perfect property for a stay in Peguera - the friendliest staff, delicious food and only a five minute walk to the beach. The pool is perfect for a dip too! The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
There is no WiFi in the rooms but there is in the public spaces. It would be great to have it in the rooms too!

Verified reviewI'm afraid I didn't have much time as i travelled for work and was out early, and back late. I was not able to use all facilities. But what I really liked was the playful set up. Almost idyllic with little pathways and small apartments draped around the pool. Really cute.

If we had to say something, we had a room away from the pool, but close to the road which made it a bit noisy. The street is small so we had no problem to sleep but it could have been even more paradise !
