Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hardly can get a shower because of all the calcar in the hols of the shower head. I bought a new one. Lizards and cockroach on the terrace. Ants in the room.
The location is good, in old part of the town.

Bathroom had no window & no extractor so got very hot. Air conditioning is not allowed until june so room was hot.
Staff were very nice& helpful. Location was great. Bed was super comfortable. Rooftop view was great.

I noticed they did not sweep in the bathroom the entire time we were there, however the rest of the room was very clean. The elevator was a bit slow, but it did have to go all the way to the 7th floor, so fair.
Location was fairly good, about a 30 minute walk from the train station and about 15 min from the bus stop. There was one staff member who did not speak English but was friendly and willing to work with the little Spanish we knew, the other staff members were able to speak English and were very friendly. Clean, accommodating, and nice views.

The hotel itself is quite tired and quite a few things didn't work too well. The 1 euro charge for a hot drink was annoying and the terrace just had 1 2 chairs. The paint work was tired. We moved rooms as the air con in the first didn't work but in the second room the bathroom door handle didn't work too well, the bathroom smelt awful and the actual room smelt horribly of polish we think. It was quite hot and stuffy so we needed the air con. One of the bedside lights wouldn't fully turn off at night. The location made it worthwhile but it wasn't a great stay!
The location is very good for visiting the cathedral and the historic part of Jaén. Wonderful view from the terrace in the evening. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Not enough personal staff service. Reception excellent but very few other staff, too much reliance on self service machines.

Hot drink facilities in room. Would have been willing to pay more for breakfast if drinks were not in vending machine and a little more choice. Surprised there was no bar but one next door was very good.

My god finding the parking was a nightmare- we drove round 2/3 times as there was building works going on and we were not sure where we could drive. It took nearly 2 hours to park and find the hotel :(

There is currently building work next door to the hotel, starts 7am finishes 6pm and it is loud.. anyone booking should be aware and ask

The walls are too thin. Basically I could hear everything from the neighbouring room, even quiet talk.
The position of hotel is in the centre. Everything is reachable easily and quickly.

The calefactor wasn't working. The bathroom was kind of horrible. The curtain was outside the bathroom, so all the floor got wet when I showered.
I loved the helpful staff and the close proximity to many places. Perfect. Location if I say so.
