Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe place is exactly as it appears in the pictures! As soon as we arrived we were explained in detail what activities could be done in the natural park by the very kind host and we went to see our igloo equipped with every comfort, with huge glass window to see the sky. After a visit to the park, whose entrance is 10 minutes away, for the evening we were grilling in the very comfortable outdoor cottage that offered wood and all kinds of grilling tools. Highly recommended!

Very Very good Reception Lady, she guided us for all the activities, Clean Big Rooms and partly Igloos, most importantly we saw Northern Lights from the Igloo and better even from outside of the Igloo in common area. Location is very good to even spend 2-3 Days to do nearby activities.

United KingdomNothing really. The mattress were a little on the soft side but all the accommodation on this trip seem to have soft (and deep) toppers. They can be removed so no real issue.
Fantastic room and location for skiing in and out. The amenities were excellent quality and the drying cabinet was super useful especially given its somewhat cosy set up. The Kote (outbuilding with a big fire where you could cook your food or relax on a deer hide) was great and the kids enjoyed cooking dinner there.

United KingdomIgloo is small but cosy. Natalia from the reception team was fantastic answering my emails before we checked in and she helped us check in at 12 which was way before the 4pm check in. She also helped us light the fire in the Kotu we had booked for a private bbq Finnish style! The bed and mattress is great and the kids bed is also a good size and was very comfortable. I liked that they had some tea and coffee and also milk and non dairy milk in the room ready for the guest.. a nice touch. If there is snow on the glass igloo you can turn on a switch and it will melt in 15 min so you don’t miss out on the view of the northern lights . They also had sledges to borrow for free. You can walk to the family slope 13 from the igloo and we got takeaway from the nearby pub which was 5 min walk away.

TaiwanThe igloo is located next to a ski area. It is not a good place for people who would like to see aurora from the room. Lights from Ski area will be not off until 10pm which is kinda disturbing. Even after 10pm, I could still see the streetlight so basically there was no dark all night.
The staff are super nice and they were willing to assist with everything I asked. The Jacuzzi and sauna were quite expensive but it's nice of them that they actively offered a discount. Dinner BBQ was recommended as Kota was rented for free. A very good place for people skiing.

AustriaThe location of the accommodation was not as remote as we expected. One unit is attached to the other and it was quite noisy from the neighbours and bright from the street lights during the night. I think you need to be very lucky to be able to see the Northern Lights from the room - we were not unfortunately. It was also quite cold in our igloo even though we turned the heating on full force. Probably because it was very cold outside (around -30 during the night).
The accommodation was clean and spacious. The big windows over the bed were a unique feature. The kitchen is well equipped. The staff were really nice. The opportunity to rent fatbikes at the property was a big plus for us. Riding the bikes through the snowy forest was a unique experience :)

Kitchen is nicely equipped with pots and pans so you can cook meals. We got the ski bus from Rovaniemi and we were left right at the entrance of the igloos

FranceThere is a small downside—there’s some light pollution behind the property that slightly affects the view of the aurora borealis. If the activity isn’t strong, it can make the lights less visible
Review: Our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. Check-in was seamless, and Natalia at the reception was exceptional. She greeted us warmly, provided all the necessary information about the shops and restaurants nearby, and was incredibly friendly throughout. We booked the private sauna and jacuzzi experience, complete with a cozy fireplace, and it was pure relaxation. This is definitely something I’d highly recommend to anyone staying here—it was such a special treat. The room itself was spotless, and the view from the bed was breathtakingly beautiful. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to witness the aurora borealis directly from our bed. It was a magical experience that we’ll never forget. Everything about our stay was perfect, and the property had everything we needed to make it comfortable. Overall, this was an unforgettable stay, and we can’t wait to come back!
