Hamen was a great host. Great personality, very helpful. He stored our luggage free of charge while we traveled Yasawas. He can organize pick ups and drop offs. We also rented a car from him at reasonable price. Place was clean and good enough for restful sleep. Hot shower and aircon. Local shop 2 minutes away. Highly recommended

My advice is to have a vehicle at least, in order to move about as transportation for taxi and busses limited to an extent. Be comfortable with sharing a ride with others if you are to catch a return taxi. Or at least have a reliable local taxi driver at your back pocket. Haman, would also be happy to assist if you need any transportation assistance.

The location was very private, so perfect for couples or a single person who wants to stay for a short day or week. The host was very respectful and would let you go about your day. It's definitely a perfect spot for couples to rekindle their love and have a wonderful time together.

The address was not correct.The address given Nadi back Road Fiji It should have been .Name of Road , Nawaka Fiji.It was a problem to locate.The address was too vague

Hamen is a truly lovely person—so kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was how he was always happy to offer rides wherever we needed to go for just a small cost, which made our experience in Fiji even more enjoyable and convenient. Sometimes heard loud people outside at night or early in the morning.

As a solo female traveller, I felt comfortable staying here. Hamen was fun to chat to and provided travel suggestions. He can drop you off or pick you up if timing works, so you don't have to worry about public transport or taxis. (It was ~ 10 min from Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami (Hindu) Temple and ~ 30 min from the port.) I rented out his spare car which allowed me more flexibility. The breakfast is generous.

The host was incredibly honest, consistent and approachable. Hamon was always helpful and easy going making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The breakfast was nice and simple, prepared on request. The location is in a charming village very close to Nadi Town centre. making it convenient to explore. We also rented a car from the host which was very convenient for getting around.

The room was smaller than we would have liked and the location was more remote from Nadi than we expected. (The address provided, Nadi Back Road, was inaccurate; house was on Nawaka Road, over 1.5 km from Nadi Back Rd.) There was no TV and no streaming service as stated in listing, but there was good wi-fi (host blamed Booking.com for delay in updating.)

The room was clean and the host was very friendly and helpful, providing transport when we needed it. Air-conditioning was good when there wasn't a blackout. Local shop was convenient.

The location is just outside of Nadi town. Hamen also has a car available for rent at a great rate. I took the taxi and bus while I was staying there. For those who prefer to drive on their own, I would recommend talking to Hamen about his car rental. The room has A/C, a private bathroom, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I was very comfortable during my stay. The host is kind and attentive. I would book with him again.

The host (Hamen) was very welcoming, accommodating, approachable, efficient, and was always happy to help. Our stay happened to be in rainy days, but, Hamen looked after us and helped us decide on the things that we can do, gave us suggestions. He also had a car for rent which we utilised for our traverse in Fiji.

Indeed the name befits my experience - Home Away From Home gave me that. I had no plan of staying 2 nights in Fiji, becoz I was transiting for Kiribati but I had VISA issues so had to stay two nights while sorting out my VISA. I was a bit stranded at the airport at 9:00am (then I booked a place to stay), but Hamen went out of his way and offered to pick me up ahead of his check in time. And throughout my stay he drove me around the city to cool places and to do my errands (btw. he also has a car for hire). We had great chats and laughs! Fantastic host, he puts a personal touch in his services. A truly reliable host, who enjoys giving his best. Not having my VISA was a blessing in disguise and furthered my personal motto: Live the life you love Love the life you live

Though the house doesn't have hot water, it wasn't a problem for us, and for village standards, the accommodation is good.

We stayed at Home Away from Home, located in a quiet village outside Nadi. The apartment is simple but clean and comfortable. It was perfect for us as we were looking for a short stay before heading to the smaller islands. The owner, is very kind and accommodating. He picked us up from the airport upon request and even provided us with simple but nice breakfast. He also helped with transfers to the city for dinner and dropped us off at Port Denarau. He took very good care of us! We especially appreciated the reasonable price, proximity to the airport, and Hamen's hospitality. Would definitely recommend for those seeking a budget-friendly, local experience near Nadi.

The most wonderful host you will ever come across! Mr. Hamen goes out of the way to make your stay comfortable. Being a vegetarian, he took the trouble of preparing very good rotis and chickpea curry for me for breakfast! Fruit and tea was also there. It is more than what you can expect for the money you are paying.
