Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandRoom was a bit cramped, still plenty of outdoor space to relax.
The breakfast was wonderful! A delightful variety all set up, though we needed to be gone by 7am. Cooked, cereal, fruits, drinks.

AustraliaI specifically booked two double beds. We were given a King and a single. They could not give us another room. They said they were “booked out”. They weren’t. So my girls and I shared the king.
We got in at 8:30pm and the restaurant was open until 10pm and was the main reason we booked the hotel. We left at 8:30am the next morning to transfer to an island.

AustraliaOur room wasn’t sealed properly so we did have to kill a couple mosquitoes. As someone who grew up in the Pacific, it was normal but I would have liked better sealing and no gaps with the door or luvre windows. We used our towel to fill in the crack under the doorway and kept the bathroom door closed which seemed to seal things off. We wore mosquito repellent too as even though it’s dry season, there were a few around (not the fault of the property, just the reality of being in Fiji).
This property is fairly basic but comes with a pool and standard amenities. Pictures are a good representation. Breakfast has a few options - enough for anyone and the evening menu is pretty good. Ana at the reception desk was our highlight - professional, warm, friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The best staff member we interacted with by far! She gave us local knowledge to get around and it was very smoothly. She’s the type of employee that gives you instant confidence in a place and we highly recommend her. We had a 24hr layover in Fiji so wanted something near the airport, complimentary transfers and breakfast were what we needed, the pool was good for our kids, staff kids swam and played with our kids, it was a laid back, friendly guest house feel. If you want a more authentic/local entry into the pacific, this is the type of place to go to rather than a big resort where you can hide from the culture. We enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend Ana to everyone! This is great for a stopover or as a base sore a more authentic Pacific experience. Clean, comfortable and helpful staff.

FijiThe only minor downside was that the bathroom felt a bit small for a deluxe room.
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and we absolutely loved the breakfast provided. The vegetable dishes in the morning were superb—compliments to the cooks! I would highly recommend this place to other small families looking for a relaxing vacation. Overall, our experience was very positive.

New ZealandNothing really. It was what we needed for the time. We did book for 4 people but there were only towels for 2 so we had to ask for more. Nothing serious as was a quick fix.
Staff were friendly and accomodating. Room showed a little wear and tear but it was clean and comfortable for what we needed. Having the option of a pool is great for families with kids. Good food.

New ZealandThe state of the first room we were put in originally which was near reception in the main building was not great. We saw heaps of bugs in the bathroom and shower area. Also did not like the room made me feel claustrophobic. I do appreciate that the staff were very accommodating and let us move to one of the cottages.
I think it's good value for money. We enjoyed the breakfasts each morning, considering what was paid I thought it was definitely good value. Loved the vegetarian curries and a Roti each morning. I personally enjoyed staying at the cottages, loved the gardens surrounding the place, loved the little walk down to the pool and restaurant each day. The cottage was comfortable to stay in and was fairly clean. The cleaners would come basically every day to tidy things up or give us fresh towels which was lovely. All the staff there were amazing, very friendly lovely people. Our favorite staff member that was very professional, friendly and excellent at customer service was Litiana. 10/10 service when we would have dinner at the restaurant Thanks Litiana! Overall was a very nice relaxing stay, if I could get it for the same price in future I'm sure to return.
