The bathroom has a slope away from the drain so showering resulted in a pool of water that spilled out the bathroom door! I had to mop up the floor each time we showered!

I did not expect, so it is better than I thought, location is good, and it is not very noisy as other hostel I lived. Kichen is good, breakfast is good also. Good value!

Curtains were no good for darkening the room. The (tiny) bathroom was a bit shabby. Old looking wooden steps leading to the front door of the guesthouse. I think the price is a bit high for a room that size, but I only stayed for 1 night. I would recommend for a short stay.

Good location. Easy to book. Quite pleasant, basic accommodation. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is included - it was good quality food and quite varied. I was pleased that soya milk was provided. Fine for a night or two.

Lots of steep stairs so very difficult with luggage. Old building with no fire escape.

Good location, comfy beds and great breakfast included. There was also a well-appointed kitchen for self catering.

The guesthouse which I expect to be simple, but this one is almost like a hostel with no amenity, only the towel, which is why the cost is much cheaper than the hotel. The building is not very sound-proof, so I can hear some machine running or door banging in the middle of the night.

The location is great, right in the center and close to everything. The breakfast selection is small, but covered the basic.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, making it really convenient to explore the area. The breakfast was perfectly fine – simple but satisfying. I was happy with it. The service was excellent, and the room was clean, comfortable, and met all my expectations. Honestly, the experience was even better than I had anticipated, especially considering some of the reviews I had read beforehand. I’m really glad I chose this place and would absolutely recommend it to others!

Double room itself was very small for two people with luggage. Fine in itself for one night and for what it is, but overall, very expensive for a very small double room. Accommodations in general in the city center were quite expensive.

Staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was good, overall location was good not too far from the ferry. Our room was next to the delivery area of the grocery store next door; truck deliveries started very early morning. Room was clean and clean fluffy towels were provided.

The staircase in the back was steep/rickety. The kitchen was pretty lackluster (needs a little sprucing, flowers?!). The room, spartan (could use some Faroese art/textiles???)

The breakfast buffet was yummy and nice ambience. Location was so central - everything was walking distance (except the National Museum, but that’s a free bus ride!)

The room itself is very basic furnitured, looks like a hostel, no furniture ( warderobe for clothes or at least a bedside), extremely strong mold smell, breakfast decent but all products mixed on the same plate for self serving( see foto). When you have a shower the bathroom seems like a pool due to the poor quality curtains. Very noisy as it is a old wooded building. I am not sure what happened when we booked, we started from the 62an hotel but somehow redirected to the guesthouse. Conclusion Guesthouse =hostel but for the money paid i would say too expensive.

I am not a fan of shower curtains.

A lovely guesthouse with a hostel feel. Communication was easy and responsive and check in was a breeze. The room was good, with a lovely large opening window. The bathroom was small but fine. Breakfast was simple but adequate. We managed to find parking on the street right outside, but it is time limited during the main part of the day. There is a supermarket next door - very convenient.

Extremely small room, you couldn't even have a suitcase open due to lack of space! The windows couldn't be fully open, due to the lack of ventilation it had a horrible mouldy smell.

I appreciated the communication with the reception before I arrived because I would have a late check-in and at that time the reception would be closed. But no problem, everything worked well. The breakfast (at the hotel with the same name) is quite good too.

We actually upgraded to the hotel and regretted it. The upgradr cost of the small hotel room was excessive. The room was incredibly hot and we couldn't turn the heater down so were told to open the window which was a waste of energy. The guest house itself is pretty run down and there are really steep steps to the second floor which makes it tricky to carry heavy luggage- hence the upgrade.

Unfortunately the room was unimpressive and the bathroom was particularly disappointing. If you do not mind walking a bit, I would consider something outside the center. If you have a car I would even consider not staying in the capital at all. There are much better deals elsewhere in the country and Tórshavn is small enough to not necessarily warrant an overnight stay.

It is one of the cheaper options in the city center that does not involve a shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and it was nice to have a shared kitchen. The staff were friendly too and the breakfast room was a lovely place to start the day.

The size of the bathroom is large, and the hand basin needed for this was very small for me.

The accommodation is in the central location of the city, the city center is a 2-minute walk away. There is a grocery store next door, and the guest kitchen is well equipped The breakfast is plentiful. Parking in front of the hotel is free between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m., at other times it is also free in the harbor (300 m) during the day.
