Regarding the price (even for a Scandinavian country) it was definitely not worth the service and facilities which were provided, or better not provided.

The rooms are student accommodation and basic which worked well. The location overlooking the capital was great.

Check in was a challenge, hadn’t realised key was left on the table. You have to make up your own bed.

The room is fine, beds are okay and the shared bathrooms are limited to a few rooms each which is good.

The room had fleas and silverfish bugs. I tried to call the after hours number to change rooms but it didn’t go through. I messaged them on booking.com and they never responded. We tried to actually book another hotel room and leave this one, because who wants to sleep in a room with fleas on the bed? But all hotels in Torshavn were sold out due to a football match with Denmark the same night so we literally had no option. So yeah it wasn’t a great stay.

All good.Clean, Facilities as expected. Had to call but they were very helpful.

Would have liked better coffee/tea facilites during evening. Nice to come back and know you can have a coffee. Coffee in urn all day not the best.

Quiet, very few people around. Nobody bothers you. Basic room but ok, with one bed, one sofa-bed, four shelves, one chair and one desk. Bathroom divided in toilet + sink and shower + sink, shared with another room. Good breakfast. Lots of parking. Bonus supermarket nearby.

Far from the center, better have a car. Room was on fourth floor, no elevator. Can’t use kitchen facilities.

There is nothing to like about Marknagil. It is expensive and gives little value for money.

Almost everything could be better: beds, breakfast, coffee, Why say coffee is free til the last drop when only one, probably, kettle is made? In the afternoon it is empty.

Ok to stay a couple of nights… View is great! Nice that there’s tea and coffee available all day long. Plenty of space to park the car.

Very basic. Nothing special, very minimalist room. Small bed. Breakfast stops at 9am… a bit too early considering it’s a holiday and maybe one is extra tired from all the hiking from previous day! Walls are very thin, you can hear everything, all sort of noises coming from next door. No elevator. Far from the center. Too expensive for the service provided.
