The room wasn't hoovered everyday, possibly due to staff shortage, and hiking in the Faroes can be a muddy affair. Also the hot water broke down for 2 nights in a row, which didn't help, but they got it fixed.
Very convenient central location without the noise and perfect for pick up. Great buffet breakfast with a wide selection. Comfortable beds and very kind staff. I'll book there again.

ItalyHotel 62N was quite expensive for a comfortable but relatively simple hotel room, but then all accommodation in the Faroe Islands is costly by the standards of other countries. For those on a budget, another choice is the adjoining 62N guesthouse, where rooms are a little simpler but clean and fine, while costs are a good bit lower.
Hotel 62N is in a great location, right in the centre of Torshavn. We arrived on the ferry from Denmark and walked to the hotel in 10 minutes. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

United KingdomThere is a pub nearby and it was quite noisy on Saturday night with a 0345 closure.
Location was ideal. Not far from the tourist information, bus stop and supermarkets. My flight was over 5 hours late arriving and was due in after the reception was closed. I was left clear instructions on how to collect my key and enter the hotel. The room was comfortable, Breakfast was a self service buffet with a wide variety of choice. The tv in the room had wifi connection with a couple of english channels, access to YouTube and a couple of subscription channels if you have an account with them. There was on street outside the hotel and parking nearby.

Really great location with an amazing view of the harbour, city and ocean. A really helpful and friendly staff. Easy to gain access when the reception is closed after 10 pm. Close to the bus station, where there are free city busses to get you around. Had a kettle to make coffee/tea in the room, and since the next door neighbour is a supermarket, you can get your snacks there. Loved the view but was also blessed with sunshine most of the time
