  • Chateau Pimo Review score: 9.9

“This is a great place to stay at and a great place from where to discover Provence. It is away from the busy roads and beaches nearer the coast but in the middle of the Provence that we dreamt of. The centre of Draguignan itself isn't one of Provence's picture-perfect towns, but this chateau is in a green area outside of Draguignan, so it's well-placed for visiting e.g. Lorgues, Ampus and similar beauty spots. A little farther away (but only around an hour by car) are the Gorges du Verdon. The house itself was developed two or three years ago by the current owners, so it is hyper clean and offers all modern conveniences. It has a beautiful, large pool (15/20m?) and a modern spa with sauna. The owners live in a separate part of the chateau, so they are true hosts, in the best sense of the word, and on hand to help answer questions or give advice about the area, which was helpful.”

  • “Very private, nicely arranged, room was a good standard. Liked the refreshment station in entrance of building that you could help yourself to. .”
