  “We booked a family room and a double for our group of four. My wife and I had a family room as it had more space for our mountain of motorbike gear and found it very comfortable even though a little compact. The bed was quite low and firm, but I had the best nights sleep I’d had for a long time. We were greeted by Isabelle on arrival who is absolutely lovely. She found my fumbled attempts at the few words of French I know to be quite amusing 😁. The meal we had in the restaurant was home cooked and delicious. Breakfast was fresh bread and croissants with all the usual items you would expect from a continental breakfast. Location was ideal for us as an overnight stop on our European tour, being a couple of hours from the ferry at Dunkirk. We would recommend this hotel if you like small family run places, full of charm and character.”

  “This is a magical place set in the middle of the forest. The owners went out of their way for us. The motel like rooms were very comfortable and clean. I liked that there was direct access to the gardens. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.”
