It couldn't have been better

Everything about our stay was delightful. Friendly and welcoming hosts, large comfortable room, lovely bathroom, beautiful garden with a small pool and views. Delicious breakfasts in the garden. Hosts gave useful information about where to go and suggested restaurants, Parking place was really helpful.

Its hard to criticise anything, the one thing we missed was a coffee machine or cafetiere in the room. But that's a very small omission for such a beautiful place.

Probably the best place we've had the pleasure to stay at. We had the garden room. The views were fabulous, my wife adored the decor and the beautiful garden. The pool and jacuzzi were fab too. We also loved the little posse of long haired Jack Russell's who were super friendly. Domme as a village is great, not loads to do and lots of the restaurants shut on an evening, but as a place to chill and relax it was amazing. Just what we needed. The panoramic view from the top of the village is worth going for on its own.

It would have been helpful to have been provided with directions to the parking area in advance to avoid holding up traffic and advised of the distance from the accommodation.

The whole place was absolutely delightful. A wonderful old beautiful building, tastefully decorated with carefully curated objects d'art. Very comfortable with access to the library and garden. Attentive hosts made our group of 4 couples all feel very welcome and at home. Parking for our 4 classic cars was key to our booking. Breakfast was delicious, a feast for the eyes as much as for the stomach. The location was perfect for accessing Domme, particularly important for a short stay.

Perfect location, lovely views. Gorgeous garden. Excellent facilities. Our garden room was huge and wonderfully appointed with a very comfortable bed. Francois and Helen were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was magnificent. I highly recommend this.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and spoke good English. Their bed and breakfast location is gorgeous and the first place once you enter beautiful Domme. It was like staying with old friends who wanted to offer you the best experience. Their gardens are gorgeous and we used the hot tub. Most relaxing stay on our trip in Europe. 💗

We lived everything!!

The property was stunning!! The owners were incredibly friendly and made several excellent recommendations for must see sites as well as great restaurants in Domme. We fell in love with their three adorable dogs! The gardens were spectacular, the views from our room incredible and the breakfasts delicious. We enjoyed relaxing under the stars in the jacuzzi after a fun filled day. We look forward to future stays with our family!

Breakfast was not availabe till 9 a.m. which might suit some guests but not early risers like my wife and I.

Extremely friendly owners who could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Lovely large room with plenty of storage, sitting places etc. Weather was not kind so could not use either the swimming pool or the hot tub but could see their value during hot weather. Excellent location with private parking a short distance away. Delicous breakfast.

The insects were biting! Not the fault of 1 Logis a Domme, however I would struggle to find anything else negative to say.

Domme is a fabulous location and 1 Logis a Domme is a fabulous place from which to enjoy it. Can't fault anything -room clean and spacious, facilities excellent, hosts beyond welcoming and garden a slice of paradise. A real home from home. Thank you to Helene and Francois for making our stay so special.

The only downside was car parking. Couldn't guarantee a spot near the accommodation but were fortunate on 2 occasions out of 3. Domme is steep so need to be fit enough to walk uphill but this is general for the village. Still an excellent place to stay.

The accommodation was very high quality and tradionally french with wonderful antique furniture. Excellent shower and comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were excellent features in a beautiful garden. The breakfast was very good. The owners were charming and helpful.

Nothing we didn't like here. We loved this place.

The location made it easy to explore Domme and we didn't use the car in our couple of days there. We were lucky to get parked right outside the guest house but were told there was free parking a little further up the village if needed. The hosts were wonderful and gave us a very warm welcome. The room was really big and sympathetically decorated in a rustic french style. The garden was idyllic and we also used the hot tub which was nice and secluded and available all day. The breakfast had a great choice of items including fruits, yoghurt, pastries, bread, ham, cheese, eggs etc and was presented really well.

Hélène and François have a lovely home in Domme. Everything is top notch, starting with their warm hospitality. Breakfast was home made and more than enough. They have a lovely wild garden where you can sit and enjoy the view of the valley below. Can't wait to return.

There is nothing to say that is negative about the hotel. The weather throughout France was thundery and wet but we still made it to the market and bought cheese and slicing sausage!

This is a wonderful place. The garden is a thing of beauty and from its rose covered arbor, there are stunning views of the Dordogne valley. Domme is a pretty town with a long, fascinating history. The stone is that soft yellow limestone colour, so evocative of the SW of France. Our 2 hosts could not have done more for us. We really enjoyed the attention to detail throughout the hotel. There are many interesting features and some remarkable furniture and art. The day started off well with a delicious breakfast, that was varied and prepared by the hosts with care. Nutmeg on the scrambled eggs! Genius! Crèpes with a hint of fleur d'oranger? People who know about food and are happy to share that expertise, just for the pleasure of sharing. Loved the place and highly recommend it.
