How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel surroundings are not very nice. Broken car windows on the floor... Hotel parking is free but opened and at ground level. Park the car with nothing visible from the outside.
Friendly staff, nice room. Nice breakfast.

A little too far from city center but very accesable with public transportatio
Location was perfect, directly out of motorway with free parking house. There were restaurants nearby with 10% discount for hotel guests.

It was a stopover for us as we were travelling on, but there is not much around the location.
The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and a good size.

The room was in the side of the highway, so there was some traffic noise; but the windows are quite good and reduce a lot the noise.
A good hotel in the Vénissieux, especially for business trip. It has parking lot for the car. The room was big. Very excellent breakfast. A/C was very silent.

Building exterior has quite a bit of trash around.
Helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast with bacon and eggs. Safe bicycle storage. Air conditioning works great. Restaurants close by and grocery store short walk. Bus stop to city center nearby.

The lady at breakfast was very kind and polite, cooking us bacon and giving my son pencils and paper to draw pictures. The room was very comfortable.

A kettle in the room woukd be excellent! Although there is a machine in the foyer, it is nice tobe able to make your own drink in the room.
Breakfast was very good and good value for money. Top floor location had great views. Secure parking was good too. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Comfortable. Good shower. Sheets and towels and shower wash/ handsoap included.

The bathroom was big enough but I missed some storage space or ant little table to put my stuff on! The room service team should really do their best. It was not clean enough but it also was not too dirty.
Great Team ! Especially CAROLINE and Louise at the reception! The breakfast and The Breakfast team (the team member with the short hair) is Amazing! The location is close to the highway (good or bad depends on your plan why you stay there). Comfortable bed. For 1 person perfect( I booked a double room). Simple and provides many comfort for a short stay. The rooftop very cool and has a huge potential for being a great place to relax and smoke!

When I entered the door, I tripped over the height difference in the floor. The receptionist was very indifferent. When I asked her to report the issue of the floor height difference to her management, she reacted in an extremely unreasonable manner, saying that nothing could be done and that they wouldn’t take any action. Such a lack of professionalism was very disappointing. When I asked if the hotel had an electric kettle I could borrow, she replied, "This is a three-star hotel, not a four-star hotel." While the hotel’s facilities and cleanliness were satisfactory, the professionalism of the front desk staff was disappointing.

The location is really not nice, but as an overnight hotel on the way, it's a very good place
Ideal as a stopover for the journey south or back, located on the Lyon ring road. The hotel itself is fine, clean and comfortable rooms, quite a decent breakfast. Free and monitored parking just next to the hotel. The value for money is reasonable.

The breakfast is very simple. Basically it’s just tea/coffee with a variety of carbs. Typical for Europe but still could be better.
Clean, quiet, good Wi-Fi, secure parking. Perfect place to spend a night while traveling from Germany to Spain.
