How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It had a small kitchen and good size bathroom. Not that we used the Kichen. The location is very good. It is a 5 minute stroll from the rear entrance of the property to the old town.

We were not provided the access codes or instructions despite being not checked in within hours. We had stayed before and they sent them then. Also in the room we found a list of charges for things that wasn’t made clear by staff or the check in materials. It was found on the back of a stand up notice. There are charges for not taking your own rubbish out, cleaning and putting away the dishes etc. we didn’t mind but it would have been annoying to be charged later and not know. It would have made us not stay again.
Location to the train station was great. The rooms were very comfortable.

Parking is a little awkward to access from the street.
Surprise with the "secret" access route to Poitiers centre. Very convenient. Apartment was spacious and clean. Parking very convenient. Staff were very helpful. Air conditioning worked well.

It says that the hotel is not far from the town which is true but it is an uphill walk, including quite a lot of steps to get to the town which is difficult if you have a sore knee like I have atm. It would be good if this info was disclosed on the hotels booking.com page. A coffee maker would have been nice.
On site parking is a necessity for us. We have used the Adagio Access chain of hotels before so know what they offer. The fridge and freezer were very useful for the contents of our cool box. Good clean & powerful shower. Great AC

Paying 4 euros to park for 1 hrs and 45 mins on street. In London that would be 15 GBP or more. Jokes aside, the place is fantastic value for money. Thank you

Kitchen knives could have been sharper
Staff were efficient and very friendly, public areas nice and clean. The apartment itself was lovely, well-equipped and clean, with excellent mixed lighting and plenty of electric sockets. We were on the road side but sound insulation was excellent, so no noise at night. Didn't use the pool or have breakfast but both it looked nice. Parking outside was easy and not too expensive. Would definitely stay here again.

The area between the hotel and station seemed very run down and dirty, unlike the centre which was beautiful - I wish we’d stayed there. It could be we just didn’t take a very nice route when we walked to the centre?
Very quiet, nice comfortable beds, great bathroom and good value for money. The breakfast was really good too.

The surrounding area was quiet, with few eateries or activities to do for the night for a solo traveler. But it was very near the train station so no complaints!
Close to the train station, room was spacious and comfortable and clean. There's a shortcut to the city centre (walkable up a hill within a 10min walk)

Comfortable apartment we have stayed in before ten years ago. Well equipped for dish washing crockery and real wine glasses. Kettle. Spacious as expected from this chain. Secure parking. Short walk through the garden up the steps at the rear for short cut towards the great town centre. Stayed two nights. Ensure to ask for a quieter room at the back.
