Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe booked under the agreement that parking was provided but they withdrew it before we arrived. It cost us quite a bit to park locally. You will have to research prices to decide which parking to choose as they differ in price. We chose underground PK1 in 1650.
Location of the kota cabin is next to piste, great bonus. The facilities are great. There was plenty of breakfast so we usually saved some of it for lunch! Baggage service very helpful. We asked for more milk and then were brought a whole bottle each day!

United KingdomI think for the price you're paying you should have access to the spa area as part of your reservation, It was very expensive and in my opinion not worth it, especially as one of the saunas was cold. A tiny improvement would be to have something other than plastic wine glasses in the rooms! Be aware - if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you! Lots and lots of steps to the little chalets. Also booking dinner is very confusing - make sure you book in advance, the food is nice but you do have to heat it in the microwave.
Abolutely loved the stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. The little chalets are very well considered in terms of design and facilities, the bed is so comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The staff were very freindly and accommodating, I would highly recommend!

AustriaThere are just plastic dishes in the room. It could be more pleasant to have a morning coffee from a glass one. Breakfast was poor, it could be better for the price of the stay.
The personal was very friendly. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. We had a very nice view and we enjoyed having a bath close to the bed.

SwitzerlandThe Hotel was a bit hard to find. It would have been lovely, being able to choose a bit more, what we wanted to have for breakfast.
Staff was really welcoming and helped us with the luggage. Sensational experience to stay in a accommodation like this. we really enjoyed it. Being close to nature but don't have to miss any luxury.

United KingdomLots of steps - not that we would say this is a downfall, just take it into account before booking if you're elderly or disabled. The annoying thing for us was that the spa was not included in the price which we have never encountered at a hotel before! Usually hotel guests enter for free and the public pay to enter. You also had to book a slot which weren't informed of when we checked in, which meant we booked to stay at a spa hotel but couldn't actually use it!
Clean and cosy - Breakfast at the cabins in a hamper was nice as it means you can relax in the morning at your own pace

AustraliaThe staff were so friendly and wonderful. They met us at the car park to greet us & transported our heavy bags to our spectacular dome. These domes are so cool! Ours had a glorious view & a luxurious bath tub in it! There was also a fancy hammock on the terrace, which was lovely to lay on, with a glass of wine. The shower was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and they even had shoe heaters in the dome. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were kind enough to organise a beautiful welcome gift for us which was so delicious! 10/10

United KingdomPerfect location for ski in and out, settled between the 1650 and the 1800 village so central without any of the noise. Right on a green run down to a chairlift, ski storage, boot dryers in the room, amazing views, spacious rooms, breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Loved it!

FranceLack of Variety for breakfast (excellent viennoiserie though), lack of attention to rules being followed on the spa. Would have liked the room to be cleaned more regularly (can ask for it, but would be nice if it was automatically done daily)

CanadaThe most significant problem was the lack of fresh air, because there are no windows that open. The A/C unit did not work well, and in any case, such units do not bring in fresh air. So, we needed to get up at night a couple of times to open the door to let in some fresh air. These domes may work quite well in cold weather. But if you like fresh air, then you will not enjoy your stay in one of these. We were also puzzled by the high cost for use of the spa area. All other accommodations that had such spas included their use in the price of the stay. In this case, the cost of the stay was higher than most, and yet, the use of the spa was an extra charge, and limited in time of use. Something that the owners might want to reconsider.
He had high expectations for our stay in one of the Geodesic domes at Alpin D’Home. The staff was very friendly. The view from our terrace was quite nice, while others are blocked by trees. The interior finishing was good. The breakfasts were satisfactory and sufficient. However, we did not enjoy the Geodesic dome itself.
