A charming, comfortable, clean apartment with a basic kitchen. A peaceful haven with a courtyard shaded with climbers and plants, welcome against the heat. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

We liked our hosts Robin and Rose very much. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort - much appreciated. So conveniently situated and v peaceful. Small but cosy with a private sitting out area. Spotlessly clean and lovely regional toiletries provided. Thank you both.

Parking was difficult although we managed it day to day.

Location in Lourmarin was excellent. Very close access to the hill villages of Provence. The rooms (bed and kitchen) were generous size, and good facilities to self cater some meals. There was an outer verandah where clothes could be dried post washing. Robin and Rosie our hosts were generous in advice about local travel and things to do. Kettle.

It’s a perfect spot. Maybe hard to park cars nearby but that’s because of its popularity.

Self catering apartments within the host’s house. There are 4. There is a private courtyard and balconies. You’re placed literally on the edge of the village, a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

Finding a parking space can take time but is free.

The location was excellent - within easy walking distance to the grocer, the restaurants, the old village and the chateau. The spacious room and terrace were very comfortable. Our host, Robin was very gracious and hospitable. A lovely walking path is located at the end of the drive.

I liked everything about the property.

The property was beautifully decorated, big comfortable bed and nice areas to sit. The terrace was just a gorgeous place to have breakfast and coffee. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. Lots of fabulous reading material, including helpful information on the location. Our hosts Rose and Robin could not have been more hospitable, they made our stay just perfect.

A very nice and spacious apartment, with a small private terrace. In the centre of beautiful Lourmarin. The hosts were very nice and helpful and the apartment was very clean.

Being a couple in our early 70’s the room proved to have a few traps that required caution. Small amount of steps leading down to bedroom. Bedroom ceiling very low and we bumped our heads several times especially getting out of bed at night. Nowhere to store clothes. We exercised our imagination and took advantage of a small single extra bed to lay out clothes for our 9 day stay. We hung shirts, jackets and trousers on a room divider screen. Younger people would be better suited to this particular room. We needed to stoop in the bedroom area which was not good for a 70 year old back.

Breakfast not provided. A welcome bottle of local wine. Limited basic condiments provided .

The property definitely needs some attention, bed comfortable however all the linen & the 2 pillows we’re needing updating. The towels were actually terrible-like a dry piece of cardboard.

There was a man at the property being shown a room, I suppose. I would not have been comfortable coming in and out of the property with him there.

I did not stay at the property. The room was dark and airless. There was a strong perfumed smell that I could not tolerate because I am asthmatic.

I only stayed for 2 nights. Should have stayed longer!

This property is near everything, but easy to park. I love my room, it’s very cozy. Rose is very friendly, sharing travel information with us and providing local tips.
