From start to finish I felt welcomed, comfortable and well-looked after. A popular place for the pilgrims, therefore it was a happy, warm environment as well as spiritual if you wanted to join into prayers (but no compulsion). Close to town and main attractions, and lovely grounds to wander through. Highly recommended.

    Nothing.

The hostel is run by nuns and volunteers. They were really friendly and made their utmost to make me feel part of a community. I also appreciate the possibility to get a double meal portion for the same price after a long hiking day. Great views through window, very silent place. Big inside and outside garden for relaxing.

Very clean and quiet . A beautiful building with a beautiful chapel. Lovely staff

No bar , no meal apparently it was “ complet” but I think it was a holiday - ascension day

This is not the place to go if you’re looking for a beer after a long hike. We also decided that dinner was best in town.

    A friendly welcome

This is really a hostel for pilgrims on the Chemin. de St Jacques. Fine if you like institutional living and food and to improve your French. It bears little resemblance to a normal rwo star hotel

Very nice nun greeted us. Room was clean.

Breakfast was pretty much bread and water…. knowing we would be walking 13 miles it would have been nice to have been offered some protein. Disappointing that rate said it included breakfast.

Magnificent and historic building in a beautiful village.

We messaged in advance that we were vegetarian and this was acknowledged. On checking in we were offered an omelette as an alternative to the set meal but at dinner time the dining room staff said there was no omelette option and we were given only the vegetables that accompanied the main course. My wife and I were horrified to find that the lentils we were given contained lardons (small bits of bacon). Total lack of consideration for us. If you are vegetarian or vegan do not stay here as they do not care at all.

We liked the commu.al meal and the opportunity to meet fellow walkers. The setting is wonderful and so appropriate for Camino pilgrims.
