Charming penthouse apartment well located. Cozy and clean.

The host didn’t respond to my messages for an hour and I had to call on WhatsApp. This was time consuming and frustrating.

Excellent location in the historical Mazarin quarter. Comfortable bed and furnishings. All you need for a short stay in Aix-en-Provence.

Fix the shower head to the wall. Wifi didn't work, not a big problem.

The apartment was in a superb position just next to the Granet Museum and a couple of minutes walk to Cours Mirabeau.

The shower head did not have a holder fixed to the wall, making it difficult to take a shower. There was a lack of dishes with lids to use in the microwave. Could have been cleaner

This is a truly exceptional place - the location is very quiet, but it is just a few hundred metres from Course Mirabeau with all its shops and restaurants, and the Granet Museum was practically next door. The studio is furnished with exquisite taste, it is not very large, but there was enough space for us. The kitchen was perfectly furnished and separated from the bedroom by a door, which made it possible for one of us to be awake while the other slept, without disturbing. We spent five beautiful days in Aix and staying in this apartment was most certainly one of the factors that made the visit memorable.

It needs to be mentioned that it is quite a steep climb, especially if you have luggage - so if stairs are a problem for you, this might not be your first choice. We were wondering how the beautiful red Smeg fridge ended up in the apartment - it must have been quite the challenge to lift it there.

Easy check in, and spacious, clean, quiet and bright apartment in fantastic location, two minutes from the heart of the old city. The bed was very comfortable too!

Walking distance to most everything. Well furnished, lots of space, nicely decorated. Owner was easy to communicate with and responsive.

Last flight of stairs was a bit of a challenge. Lighting for the building stairs could be improved at night.

Reception - person (son of the owner) came 29 minutes late, although we had informed him of our arrival time AND sent sms, he was then very stressed and not very welcoming and helpful. There was a dirty spot on the bathroom floor next to the wc. Window curtain in the bathroom had lots of black mold dots.

The apartment was spacious and in such a great location! It was also lovely and warm. We had such a lovely time staying there. It is so close to excellent bakeries, delicatessens and all the restaurants and bars you could ask for. The apartment itself was also very generous in size and we really enjoyed our stay! Caroline and her husband were also very helpful and lovely to deal with.

The location was excellent! The host was very good to communicate with and her husband helped us with our luggage on leaving although we needed it more when we arrived.

The stairs to this property are insane!! Be prepared. Also there were no blankets or enough toiletries.

Collecting the keys was super convenient, and the landlord was very flexible. The flat is located in the center of Aix, but in a quiet street. It was extremely clean.

Everything was perfect. A few additional amenities would make it a 10, but those are details (more soap/shampoo, shower handler mainly).

Perfect location for exploring. Lovely big windows looking out onto the old streets.

There were dirty, used plasters at the top of the shower that were left from the previous guests but not cleaned.

The windows and Roman blinds in bathroom need cleaning. There was only a hand held shower.

The apartment is in a fabulous location. It is spacious and comfortable. It makes a great base for exploring Aix.

This apartment could easily be rated "excellent" with a little bit better customer service and attention to detail. For example, the coffee was not stocked in the kitchen and at first we were told to go buy our own and then the owner agreed to bring it over. We realized the next day they brought us decaf! They only take cash for payment - we had to spend our first afternoon looking for an exchange office.

The host did not provide linens for the baby bed nor a towel for our child. The kitchen could be slighlty better equipped.

This petite and very chic apartment in a beautiful old building is in the heart of the city and perfectly located to walk to local attractions and restaurants. Parking was available close by and our hosts were very kind and helpful. Perfect for a short stay.
