Charming apartment in a perfect location.

I'm not a fan of having to wait until 5pm to check in. It seems to be standard for Chambre d'hotes. However, our host made an extra effort to get the place ready a little earlier. Thank You!

Location, convenient, clean and bright place to stay. A really comfortable big bed which is a big thing on holiday. Rochefort was a nice surprise as a stopover. A quiet, pretty provincial town with enough to do and see and for us a little downtime.

The beaches are nice, but because of the mud in the ocean, it's impossible to swim. So Marennes-plage was the answer. La Rochelle in summer is a nightmare: nowhere to park.

The city of Rochefort is nice and there's a lot to do in the region. Brouages was pretty, and the many artisans there are worth your while. I bought nice things that I thought weren't overpriced, not like in Le château on the Île d'Oleron, which actually were.

Perfect self contained studio with all the requirements needed should you wish to self cater. Entry is via coded doors but this was not a problem with good communication with the host. Would recommend.

It would be better if the laundry could be in a better setting.

The place used modern technology from entering the property, entering the room (with code emailed), to the window blinds open/close (with just pressing the switches on the wall), and the lights were completely blocked to secure a good night sleep when you were in a 10-hours time lag. The kitchenette included a conduction stove witch we have been using at home. Opening the kitchen cabinets, there were full of the surprises with supplies of necessities even rice and paste. The coffee maker was great! We felt that the apartment Bleu Soleil has taken an afford to make their customers at home. The room was spacious, the location was good for us to go where we need to go. We would choose this accommodation again if we go there again. Thank you Bleu Soleil!

Our apartment was located on the second (top) floor. Be aware the stairs are steep and winding and could be a problem for those of limited mobilty. Also although there was a locked room for bicycle storage they were down steep steps so too heavy to manouevre our heavy e-bikes with we left locked in the small courtyard, although this was accessible from the road.

This is a modern apartment in an old building and an easy walk to town. Furnishings and kitchen equipment were quite minimal but adequate for a night or two. Wifi was good. The aprtment was an easy walk in to town. We were able to access the apartment early, which we appreciated.

The kitchen was well equipped and the bed pillows each for those who love it hard and for those who prefer a bit more comfort, which is not usual. We went there with our dog and the park is close for getting him out for his business.

Beautifully decorated studio apartment with homely touches and well equipped kitchen. Very comfy bed and lovely hot shower. Close to the center of Rochefort.

The flat is very neat and lovely made. You can tell there's a lot of care that has been put in the design and details. It just feels good! Decoration is nice, the equipment are very impressive- the door handle especially, which is highly technological to a non-geek like me I must say - Everything is very comfortable. Location is good, you can walk to the centre in 5 min or so. Highly recommended as it's great value for money.

Only one towel (for hands, body and face). Wery narrow staricaise, inappropriate for large suitcases. Unusual is, that you have to clean it yourself (wash dishes and remove trash).
