There's only one plug for the whole room. Yes there is a USB plug next to each bed, but with technology now that's USB C to USB C, having one plug for 6 people is not good.. What about to charge other things? Also, it's next to the sink! So whatever you charge there, it's going to get slightly wet when someone brushes their teeth of washes their face. Also, the key card almost always does not work. We made do by not locking the door when we go out to the toilets but imagine being the first one to enter the room during the day, and you can't get in.

The common room is good and spacious, hot showers, decent breakfast. Location may be a bit off from the center but easily reachable by 10 min bus.

Lack of kitchen - one fridge that is stuffed to the brim and has no apparent order to it. One microwave and a couple of kettles...would expect proper cooking facilities to be available in this kind of place. Bathrooms do not smell fresh. No soaps provided.

Comfy bed. Friendly roommates. Good outdoor space. Decent location with amazing views of the mountains. Super helpful staff.

Be aware of where it is. You will need to bus in or walk 30 mins to get into Chamonix town. It wasn’t a problem for me, just be aware. There is no self-catering kitchen - different countries have very different ways of doing hostel kitchens so just be aware - there is a fridge, kettle and microwave for you to use with some basic crockery etc. lots of us were eating salads and home made sandwiches etc that don’t require much prep.

Really nice vibe here. There are sheep and goats and chickens, a vege garden. Breakfast has anything you could want. The staff are really helpful - be sure to ask for anything you need/ any questions you have. They have great deals on lift passes etc. There is a good supermarket nearby. I mainly drove into Flegeres (other end of town) where the cable car has free parking and you can access lots of hikes. Plentiful parking at the hostel.

Very good location, quiet and calm but also just ca 10 min walk to the city center. Parking is plenty. Facilities are clean and there was no wait for the shower. The breakfast was perfectly good. Seriously, this is an affordable place. It's not a luxury hotel but you get everything that's on the label and more than that. There are quiet hours after 10 so there's no ongoing party all night (wasn't noisy at all when I was there) Don't know if it says so but you can do your laundry here as well so if you're travelling through it's a good opportunity.

My card didn’t work for my room. I got it changed and it didn’t work again. The cards for my room mates also didn’t work despite getting theirs also changed (room 4). Only 1 charger in the room :/

The fire alarm went off twice (each night) during our stay.

Views of the mountains, food was good, we had a bbq on the night we arrived, they catered from me being vegetarian, breakfast was delicious with fresh croissants. They were also close to a local bus route.

1. There is no kitchen in the hostel. As this place is a bit remote from the down, and dinner time is fixed at 7.45pm. it would be nice to have a proper kitchen. 2. You may encounter summer camp where lots of kids might make big noises. so it is necessary to remind the tourism team with proper statement.

1. I had a problem booking with the Aiguille du Midi as I never received the confirmation email from the organization. Julia was really helpful that she helped me call them and eventually got my confirmation letter. 2. Julia was very responsive when I complained about the noises being made by a group of people in the night. Always attentive to guests’ communication. 3. The hostel offers host card so you can travel by train for free during the stay. Hopefully bus would be covered too in the future. 4. There is regular live music down the reception hall, and it does create very positive energy.

Well connected by bus to city centre and popular hiking routes, lovely garden with plants and animals, staff were very kind and free breakfast is always a plus!

There was a staff member who was rude, he had a bad attitude. The team should take care of this behaviour, and remember their business is a service.

It’s slightly out of the town but it’s not a far walk or bus ride (and the busses are free)

Good value for money., beds were comfy, water was hot. There could have been more plug sockets available but there was usbs in each bunk. Breakfast was great.

The location is good with magnificent view of the mountains . All required Facilities available . Local Connectivity is good. Food is good. Staff is nice . You get to meet travellers from different countries .
