Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Monday evening / Tuesday morning, as were all other local restaurants. Therefore we had to travel to the outskirts of Saint Omer to find somewhere which was open in the evening. It was good that a number of breakfast items were left in the room for the next morning but we would have preferred to have been able to eat in the restaurant. This would have been possible on other days of the week - our fault for not checking when booking.

Very clean and comfortable room with good facilities. Unusually, there was a kettle, coffee and tea bags in the room so you were able to make a hot drink. Excellent shower / shower room. Two USB charging points in the room. Veronique was very helpful and ensured our stay was comfortable

Steps to the first floor bedrooms...difficult when disabled.

Everything was OK....we were only staying overnight. Veronica who met us was very nice and helpful. Her ability to speak english was a plus as we have minimal french.

Sadly the restaurant is closed on Tuesday, and the small town offers very few options .

Very welcoming owner, even though I was delayed arriving from Calais . She sent photos, excellent instructions and confirmed I was in safely. Lovely garden to sit and enjoy picnic - always have some snacks in the car! Friendly fellow guests at fresh, simple breakfast. Lovely home made jams.

A small country auberge in a quiet village. Ideal for an overnight stay in our way back to the Eurotunnel the following morning. A bit quirky but spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, high quality bed linen and towels and a lovely garden/outdoor eating area. Great dinner and fabulous breakfast. Really friendly staff.

A very beautiful, restful stop. We had a lovely drink in the pretty garden when we arrived. We had a really delicious evening meal. A good breakfast was included. Lots of local produce. The room was large and comfortable with a big modern bathroom. Veronique was helpful. There was a great atmosphere.

Need We were delighted with what we found. My only adverse comment would be that as I am of poor eyesight the colour of top step is not easy to determine it’s height when descending, a more pronounced couler would help.

My wife has described this hotel as “A little gem” and I cannot disagree with her comment

Only thing I can think of is breakfast wasn’t until 9 which was a little late for us to get to our ferry on time. However Veronica did open the buffet 20 mins early for us which was much appreciated, so it’s only a tiny gripe.

Veronica was very hospitable and the rooms were perfect for our family. Also liked the general vibe of the place, a bit quirky but nice. The rooms were really clean and had great black out blinds. Veronica also sorted out a last minute booking after our airbnb let us down, and got a cot ready for us at short notice. Free wifi and decent breakfast for the children. Really recommend this place.

Veronique was an awesome host. We arrived very very late (midnight), on bastille day, so luckily, people were still up. We were welcomed and helped to our rooms. Rooms were very clean, spacious and very well equipped. Bathroom was great! Next day, we had an awesome breakfast before departure to the euro tunnel. Lovely stay.

We booked to have an evening meal. Plenty of choice, food was well presented, and very enjoyable. Dining room was very simply and tastefully decorated for Christmas Season. Breakfast was well presented. With a very good variety of choices for a continental breakfast.

The hotel was closed and should not have accepted the booking. Late in the evening I received a sort of apology saying that they forgot to tell me "in advance" about an "unexpected matter". This is clearly not true, if they should have told in advance it could not have been unexpected. Furthermore, the opening hours notice in the window said the hotel was always closed on a Monday

It’s very noisy, there’s a direct connection with the bar downstairs so all the sound travels upstairs. This also means that when people come back into the auberge using the external door, all the doors in the room make a rattling sound due to the air pressure changing.

Very clean and comfortable room, having a separate room for the kids is great!

there was no tv in the room, was VERY noisy, I had a utility cupboard next to my room, and someone thought it was a good idea to put equipment away at midnight, or rather throw it in than PUT it in!!!!

it was cheap enough for a quick stay
