The evening meal menu didn’t cater for our family/grandchildren. Too sophisticated/restricted for a family hotel. Could do with a bistro menu as well.

Calm, pretty location one hour’s drive from Calais. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely pool in courtyard and pretty garden at rear of property. Off road parking. Nice breakfast. Very reasonable room charges.

Basic breakfast room but with the option to sit outside when the weather permits. The pool is small, so we didn't use it as other guests were already in and around it.

Comfortable rooms accessible from the gardens, in a very pleasant setting. Nice terrace for drinks and evening meals on warm evenings. A good stopover just over an hour to or from Calais.

No milk for coffee, limited choice of beverages available on tray in the room, Bottle of water would have been nice.

Set in a lovely village, the Auberge was beautiful, the garden for the dog was lovely, Nice place to relax and enjoy a drink Food ok, didn't stay for breakfast, Beds comfy and beautiful bed linen.

Beautiful location but as we only stayed there for one night, arriving quite late and leaving early the next morning we were unable to make the most of it. The staff were very welcoming and the meal was excellent value for money. We were very surprised to find it so quiet, there didn't seem to be and other guests which is a great shame as this really is a little gem. The rooms ( we had booked two) were comfortable but not very modern. However they were spotlessly clean. I

An overnight stop which, if travelling from the south, is not easy to access, particularly in driving rain and flooding roads! Dinner was pleasant with suitable choices. Busy restaurant with both local and travelling groups present so clearly popular. Breakfast was somewhat limited and we ate in splendid isolation.

Warm and friendly welcome. Rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. We always have a family room which is a twin room off the double room which gives the boys their own space to chill. Staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Plenty of choice and everything is delicious. We have stayed several times and will definitely be back.

Room was really hot at night. Electric fans did help a bit but didn’t sleep great unfortunately. But other than this a lovely place to stay and would return.

Guests should understand that it's an old building, so the stairs are steep and the rooms a bit cramped. The bathroom didn't have a proper shower -- just a shower head attached to the bath and no shower curtain. Anyone with mobility problems should be aware of this, but otherwise it was a lovely place.

A lovely place in a very beautiful, quiet location. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. As it was in a remote place, we chose to eat at the restaurant and had an excellent meal. A very good buffet breakfast was available the following morning and because it was a nice morning, we were able to eat outside.
