There was no or poor lighting in the entrance to the hotel in the evening. This made it difficult to enter my 'code access' to get into the building. Our room (204 in Hotel (2)) was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. However, when I used the bathroom I found that there was no hot water for the wash basin, or if there was hot water it would have taken a long time to come through, and I did not want to waste water. Also, having put (cold) water into the wash basin I could not undo the plug (by depressing it) to allow the water to drain away.

The breakfast was of a good standard with plenty of choice, e.g. scrambled egg, croissant, bread, jams, fruit juice, choice of coffee, etc. This made the breakfast interesting and provided a good start for the day.

Had issue on arrival because there are two B&B blocks on the same site. System would be better if you could sign in on either site and get directions to room location.

For a system that is "so electronically advanced" I should be able to say or type in my name at the gate to be allowed to enter the car park at building 2; after all I reserved via Booking.com and am a genuine level 3 customer. I arrived during a rain (storm) and froze to death by the time I got to type in my reservation, then it asked me for payment before I could even enter the car park, so had to rush back outside to the car, grab the wallet, clearly I must have mistyped the number of the reservation twice as it would not recognise me.... long story short - people... hopefully there is some good advice there for you. You cannot enter block 1 at all (where the main reception is) after hours if you are not allocated there (just saying) but the gate to their car park is open. One small comment - not that I did not like but the walls are very thin and I could hear everybody packing bags in the morning in the nearby rooms so hence why I would say this is a great place for an overnight stay but you will hear everybody doing their thing in the morning.

Great location with ease of access to the motorways. Easy to find. There are 2 separate buildings - so a word of advice, know in WHICH building you are located, whether it is 1 or 2 as they have different car parking entrances. If you check in after 21.30 it is all electronic and you must have your booking reference with you and check in AT THE RIGHT BUILDING - the main building does not identify you if you are allocated to building 2. Massive brownies to the staff for their communication - prompt and to the point; they called me to advise me that reception closed at 21.30 and informed me of the out of hours check-in process. There is a small chillout area at the entrance of block 2 with a microwave if you want to make yourself a cup of tea/coffee and there is a snacks/drinks machine. Love a checkout before 12.00!!!!!

After arriving at 8:50 PM, I found the reception closed and the check-in machine not working. It took me two hours to get through to someone. The helpline employee referred me from building no. 1 to building no. 2 where no one answered the phone and it was pouring rain outside!!! This is a joke. They should give you your money back!!!

Family rooms would benefit from a stair gate! Didn’t meet any staff at all, so cannot comment on that.

The room had an appalling ‘stagnant water’ smell obvious when entering the room. It was so bad, we nearly chose to sleep in the car! We arrived very late so there was nobody to help change rooms.

Lack of an additional chair when two share a room. No kettle. The shower was dangerous and the shower head leaked. No one to ask for any help
