How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewVery comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom in the outskirts of the town. Bedding is very good and clean. Also the hotel has some agreement with surrounding restaurants to provide discounts on some dishes which is appreciated!
Maybe some extra towels since we were 3 and only 3 towels were given (for bodu and face).

It's a very well thought out hotel, very well designed and excellent value for money. Whether staying to visit the lovely centre of Compienge or an overnight stay, this is the perfect hotel.

Verified reviewThe hotel is easily accessible from the highway and offers ample parking. Our room was spacious, very clean, and feature comfortable beds. The lobby includes useful amenities such as a coffee machine, microwave, and snack dispenser. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Shops and a riverside park are within walking distance. Access after 9 PM can be slightly unclear; clearer instructions at the entrance would be helpful. Overall, a highly recommendable stay.

Verified reviewThe hotel is clearly newly built. Everything is spotless. There's free parking. While the car charger is slow, if you find a vacant car, you can connect your car for free. The building architecture, room decor, and garden layout are all wonderful. Very thoughtful. Being able to sit comfortably in the garden, have a coffee and a cigarette is great for us happy and proud smokers who are treated like second class citizens! The only problem is that this new-style budget hotel unfortunately doesn't have a friendly receptionist. Self-service check-in is a good thing! We've gotten used to it in many hotels. I prefer it to a sullen receptionist. But if you're arriving late, be sure to read my answer to "What didn't you like?" :)
If you arrive at this hotel late at night (approximately after midnight), the parking garage will be closed. If you're reading this, you won't have to rush back and forth for dozens of minutes trying to get in, like I did. There's a keypad next to the long parking barrier. Enter your booking.com reservation confirmation number there... wow! Hooray! The door opens! :) If you found a parking space at that hour, you're in luck. You can move on to the next line. If there's no parking, you can exit the property, make a U-turn on the road, and, using your strong sense of direction, park your car in the public parking lot next to the hotel. A much more important detail: the same keypad is available here! If you don't have your reservation confirmation number with you, you can jump through the bushes and gardens with your suitcase to reach the hotel. If you're going to encounter a risky situation at night, don't be as upset as I was. When you find the sliding door of the hotel's main entrance closed after somehow parking in a safe place. There's a screen on the left. Enter your reservation confirmation number there. It asks for a few more details; answer them. Just like that. Yay! Yay! Your room number and the code for your room key are given to you on a small piece of paper. I still have this paper. If you lose the code, good riddance. You can charge your car on a slow charger in the parking lot and sleep in the car. Or, press the buzzer next to computer screen, and you could spend hours explaining unnecessary details to a customer service representative in another city. Just know that "voice" isn't in the building. They won't be able to help you. And they'll give you a worse explanation than I did. :)

Verified reviewGood stop off for onward travel to Disneyland Paris! Staff were nice, slight language barrier but that’s not their problem, that my lack of French! After all it’s there native country and language! So nothing wrong here! Would 100% use this company again! (Already have!)
Only one thing was our room was the bar side and music on the Saturday night went on a bit but didn’t cause any issues with our baby!

Verified reviewAfter a long drive through France we needed a place to stay the night. This location was fine; free parking, easy to reach from the highway.
After the long car ride we arrived and noticed that we did get an email from the hotel that the reception was closed after 21:00. We've arrived later and not really noticing the screen next to the reception I just rang the intercom. Which didn't work. So I called the number next to the sign of the broken intercom. Second try I spoke to somebody, who could speak Spanish and a little English. Me speaking Dutch and English figured out together that there was just a touch screen I could've used. This all went a lot less smooth than when there was just somebody behind the desk who could've helped me. It was also a bit unpersonal; should I have checked out in person the next morning? We just left now. Also I was amazed by the bad design of the shower. The water was directed onto the faucet, where you can't stand. Too bad there was some mold higher up in the shower.

Can't complain about anything really for the price. Perhaps if the air con had been on in our room for our arrival I'd given maximum points. We arrived on a really hot day and it took a long time for the room to reach a comfortable temperature to sleep.
