How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewBeautiful cabin in a private property on the river with view. Hosts provide lots of extras and nice pastry in AM Very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable and absolutely charming!! Hosts metal sculptures on property add to ambiance
Entry gate on busy road with limited space to pull off and negotiate the gate. There are 55 steps down the hill to get to property, though host provides a small tram to use for bags
Thank you for your kind words! We know about the busy road, however, it is limited to 50 km/h. It was a pleasure to welcome you. Best regards

Verified reviewB&B Garonnella delivers more than you expect. The cabin is well appointed and furnished with artistic flair. The picture window (and view) is stunning! The bed is big and very comfortable. There is a coffee machine and a kettle and lots of little extras to make your stay special. Breakfast was served on the Terrace, it was generous and delicious (including quality local fresh produce). The garden is quiet and beautifully maintained and offers a tranquil oasis after sightseeing in busy Toulouse. The view over the river is ever-present and very special. There is a pool (unfortunately the weather was too cold for us to enjoy it) Christine and Jean are the perfect hosts: Attentive, helpful and friendly. B&B Garonnella is charming, artistic, individual and very special.
Thank you very much for your warm message. It was also a pleasure to meet you. It is always so incredible for us that from the other side of the world you arrive in GARONNELLA! We wish you a wonderful end of vacation and a safe return home. Christine and Jean

Verified reviewAn amazing oasis of tranquil calm right on the outskirts of Toulouse. Our hosts were lovely people, helpful and knowledgable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, taken on the veranda looking out onto the Garrone, watching the abundant wildlife. Our accommodation was clean and well thought out. Plenty of tea, coffee and water. We would go again for sure.
There was nothing we didn't like. 🙂
Many thanks for your kind little note. It was a pleasure to welcome you Christine and Jean

Verified reviewI loved how cozy the cabin was, you could tell it was prepared with love and attention to detail. It got quite chilly outside but in spite of this the cabin was really warm at all times. One of my favourite things about it was the big window with a view to the river below. Breakfast was fantastic too!
Looking at the pictures on booking I got the impression that the house was isolated from other houses and that it had access to the woods, so I pictured us going for a walk from the house into the woods around it, but the reality is that there is a railing isolating the house from the surroundings, there are neighbours on both sides and a noisy road just behind it. Inside the cabin you can hardly hear the noise from the road, but out in the garden it can get relatively loud.
delighted that you enjoyed your stay. rest assured, the garden is not noisy, it is at the bottom of the road, the swimming pool even further down on the banks of the Garonne and there is nothing overlooked by our neighbors. come back whenever you want!

Verified reviewThe owners were really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Christine waited up very late to welcome us when we had an unfortunate flight cancellation. Jean was an absolute STAR as he gave us a lift to the city centre on every morning (3) that we were there!👍😊😎
Everything was perfect!!!

Verified reviewJean & Christine were extremely welcoming and happy to indulge our patchy spoken French. The cabin is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful river view from the bedroom’s picture window. The cabin has everything for a relaxing couples short break. There is a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster oven, pod coffee maker. On hot nights, the AC worked quickly to cool the cabin down. The breakfast was generous even for awkward vegetarians. Lots of fresh bread, gourmet cheeses, jams and pastries, all served with a smile by Jean himself. If you like dogs (we do) then the three Airedale terriers will melt your heart. They are loveable rogues who love attention. The swimming pool is immaculate and overlooks the river. With a nature reserve at the opposite bank, the location is extremely tranquil with abundant marine and bird life. The buzzards, herons and great white egrets were unperturbed by the occasional passing planes descending towards Blagnac. The location is really only accessible by car. We didn’t rent a car so Jean kindly dropped us to the nearest Metro station when we were leaving. Nothing was a problem for Jean and Christine. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité!
I can think of nothing I didn’t like.

Verified reviewFabulous, enjoyable stay. Ideal location a short drive from the airport and just off the motorway - although you wouldn't know it. Very peaceful and picturesque setting in a comfortable and superbly equipped chalet by the river. Hosts very welcoming and pleasant. Jean is a rugbyman and a character, and Christine is delightful. Great breakfast, restaurants nearby. Easy to get into central Toulouse if you wish. The fab Airedale terriers were a real bonus but Jean will keep them away until he knows you are happy to meet them so those not keen on dogs need not worry. We would very much like to return but next time for longer. Recommended.
