Rooms were clean and aircon worked well. It was nice to have a bath as well as a shower. The bistro served interesting and very tasty food. Parking was easy for cars and our bikes were kept in a locked shed.

    The room was very small

We thought it was a great place to have as a stopover. No complaints other than the step into the bath to shower was a little dangerous without an anti-slip mat available.

Staff very helpful made room available when we arrived early. Given 2 adjoining rooms instead of 1 family room, which gave us lots of space. 30 mins walk into Gap but restaurant and bakers within 5 mins walk.

WiFi did not work during stay.

    Definitely recommend for short stay.

The overall design seems traditional, but certain elements could use modern touches.

    Parking

Light bulbs missing in bedroom Adjacent restaurant awful

    Property response:

Dear Nina, Thank you very much for your feedback on your stay at the Havvah Hôtel Gap. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our free, secure car park, an asset that makes our guests' stay so much easier. Likewise, it is pleasing to read that you found our bedding comfortable and our staff helpful. These points are at the heart of our daily priorities. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by the missing light bulbs in your room. A thorough check is normally carried out before each arrival, and I will be sure to make our team more aware of this. Please do not hesitate to inform us of this type of problem during your stay, and we will always take prompt action to rectify it. With regard to Le Bistrok, our partner restaurant, I am surprised by your assessment, as it is usually much appreciated for its creative, high-quality cuisine. Tastes are of course personal, and I understand that it did not meet your expectations. We hope to welcome you back, perhaps to explore more of the beauty of the mountains surrounding Gap and to offer you an even more positive experience. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection. Free water.

Room cleanliness. One two slice toaster (which wasn't that good) for an entire hotel.

It was convenient for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was well presented but choices were limited due to items not being topped up.

Access off the road was tricky

The size of the room and the quality of the breakfast

    Property response:

Dear Lee, Thank you very much for your comment and this nice note. Your message touches us particularly about our receptionist. Her professionalism is a perfect example of the attention we want to offer each and every one of our visitors. We will pass on your compliments to her, which will certainly be a source of motivation. Regarding the size of your quarters, our rooms are indeed between 16 and 18 m², which we always indicate when booking to avoid any surprises. As far as breakfast is concerned, your feedback concerns us as this is usually a moment appreciated by our guests. I would have liked to talk to you on the spot to understand what could have been better suited to your expectations. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Gap, perhaps for a longer stay that will allow you to discover even more of the charms of our beautiful region and take full advantage of our services. Good breakfast, very good evening meal at partner restaurant attached, very interesting and tasty unique recipes. Make sure to book as it's popular. Room good size and quiet. Air Con good. Very easy access to town centre. Dog friendly. Good value. Would definitely stay again

TOP TIP. Not the hotel's fault as their address is correct but for some reason Tom Tom goes to the correct road but totally wrong end ( it's a long road!). It's actually a bare 5 mins by car from town and the access is 100m or so on the right before the roundabout with the Macdonalds.

Had a great stay, the hotel restaurant next door was excellent and very convenient after a long travelling day, my room wasn't quite ready when I arrived but the friendly receptionist quickly provided a drink of cold water ( it was very hot!!) and an alternative room. I slept well and Breakfast the next morning provided a great selection of food and juice & hot drinks. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area

    everything was great, no problems.
