How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room was quite small. It was fine for one person.
Beautiful location. A block away from Tour Eiffel.. Even closer to a subway station. Lots of restaurents, amenities and the Seine within minutes walking..

The room was a bit too small for 2 people. I don't like a bed pushed up against the wall on 3 sides. Very closed in feeling with difficult access for one of the 2 people. Kitchen was too tiny also.

The apartment is very small, the bathroom is difficult to turn around in, and taller people need to be careful not to hit the ceiling. The apartment is on the high third floor of a building without an elevator, so it's difficult to get up with suitcases. Form 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children) the apartment is rather small.
The apartment is very well located, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, next to a metro station and a supermarket. Downstairs, there's a very good Vietnamese restaurant and breakfast place.

Excellent communication with the owners from day one making it easy to enter the site. They also sent helpful information about the surrounds and shops that maybe needed. Great location.

Stairs but we were fortunate enough to be on the first floor.
Location was excellent. Property was very clean had all modern cons. Great extras- bag storage and laundry all inclusive. Easy entry with keypads. Great communication. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

AC was decent. Took awhile to get upstairs cool. No elevator. We had large luggages so good thing there was a storage area to store our luggage that we didn’t need from our long European trip

Loft area during a heat wave was a bit too warm to sleep comfortably, even with the fan provided. A/C worked well on main level, but didn’t reach the upper loft very well.
Amazing central location. Easy check in process. Responsive and friendly hosts. Convenient kitchenette, was stocked with what we needed.

It was small but lovely.
It was close to eiffel. So you can go there on foot. I didnt need any transportation to walk around the city.

Narrow tall stairs , but I was pre-warned!

Top floor room was very difficult to climb stairs with bags and groceries. Upper bedroom was warm as AC didn’t cool off the space. Main living quarters- very comfy. Location- very good. Stairs - killer and hard to navigate

Nothing. The bathroom was a bit small but wouldn't worry an average sized person

Both nights I had drunk people singing and talking in front of the building, which woke me up. Check out at 11A is really early.

Everything was perfect — no complaints at all.
The best place to stay in Paris! Perfect location, clean and well-organized apartment, and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. I have nothing but great things to say about this accommodation. I’m coming back to Paris next year, and without a doubt, this is where I’ll be staying every time I visit the City of Light.
