AustraliaThe room was too cramped for us. There wasn't enough space to place our two large bags we had to move some furniture to make floor space. I was unable to set the air conditioning as it is controlled at reception and was set too high for a comfortable sleep in the hot weather. The shower flooded onto the bathroom floor if you ran the water for more than two minutes. I had informed reception, so hopefully, it will be fixed.
Location at the Port was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. It gives you access straight to the vibrant hub of the old town. The staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel bar is one level above ground with an outlook over the Port with, again, great staff.

United StatesBlasting music noises from somewhere early in the evening, but it went away by the time I went to sleep. Facilities can be upgraded, but it was worth the money I paid.
I had an attic room on the 5th floor. It was surprisingly very comfortable with two small windows to the harbor. Breakfast was decent although not much protein. Staff works hard there and makes difference.

United KingdomThe old port isn't a quiet place. The front rooms can be noisy if you lewere loveky. .ave your window open. All double glazed though so OK if you close up. Breakfast is fab. Staff were lovely. And evening Tapas v good value - even better if taken on the balcony overlooking the old port
The belle vue is set on the nicest part of the old port, s huge choice of restaurants immediately available and the best city sights all just a step away

United StatesIt’s a hotel in the center of town, so it’s not really fair to complain about a small room, but it was small. The bed headboard was improvised and my lamp switch was behind it. However it was well appointed. When I asked about a wobbly chair, it was fixed immediately.
The location cannot be beat, the staff are friendly and very accommodating and speak multiple languages, the Cafe Caravelle is utterly charming with delicious food and view of the Vieux-Port, our room also had a fabulous view of the old port. The bathroom has been totally updated.

Magnificent view from our room - like a postcard! Central location in the port with many restaurants in walking distance. Great little bar in the same building with live music the night we stayed there. Room was lovely and spacious, and we will stay here again if we return to Marseilles.
