Location. Incredible view from our room. Staff. The guy on Reception was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness. Food in restaurant was very good. Breakfast was typically French, with a good selection, albeit a little expensive at 13 euros p.p Would definitely stay again in the future.

Our room was a little tired and needed some TLC. Our sons stayed on the floor beneath us and their room had been renovated to a high standard.

Stunning location and high class property.

Not so much the property but the way it is listed as “near the airport”. It is not near the airport and getting from Crozet to Geneva is hard to do and expensive.

    View from the balcony.

When I make a booking and reserve a room on Booking.com, then I expect to be given that room when I arrive at a hotel. I do not expect to have to carry suitcases up 2 flights of stairs only to discover that I have been given an inferior double room with a double bed and no bath, when I had specifically booked a quadruple room, with separate beds and with a bath. When I showed the manager my confirmed booking, the best he could do was a triple room, still without bath. No apology or explanation as to why we could not have the room we had actually booked. Finally, I also do not expect to be trapped in a bathroom for 10 minutes because the antiquated lock on the antiquated door jammed and required the intervention of a workman before I could get out..

The rooms were fair but overall experience fairly disappointing. We have arrived at 8 pm - just to find keys on the wall. The hotel looked like a ghost town. There was absolutely no staff to get support from. Restaurant was closed as well; in preparation of the trip we have been trying to reach the hotel by phone but also nobody was picking up the phone. We mainly picked the hotel because it had restaurant on site and it was extremely disappointing to find it like this specifically as the location is very remote

Great location, great views and very close to the ski station. The staff were very nice and helpful. Good price, clean, very nice food (the restaurant was a bit pricey, but all restaurants in the area are, so it was no different). Great for a few days of family skiing. In general the hotel was really good and good value for money.

It would be fantastic if there was a jacuzzi/sauna to relax after a day skiing, but we can survive without one :-)

The stunning views and the excellent restaurant are the great draws at Bois Joly. The breakfast is also tasty and plentiful. My room had a balcony, as I think all do, and the views toward the Alps and Mt Blanc are fabulous.

I do not like the access to the front of the hotel. There is a rather substantial set of stairs with no hand rail. This is difficult, even impossible for some people while carrying baggage. Also, there is no elevator, so one has to, again, trudge up the stairs to the second and third floors with luggage. Not easy.

I used the hotel twice and I enjoyed the stay . It is a very good hotel for 3 stars, I think . I haven't tried the restaurant but the breakfast was great too. I enjoyed the fresh air in the morning and good views if you have the front rooms. I would suggest it to anyone who will travel in that area
