At the price absolutely nothing. The hotel was very popular and well run with friendly staff. What’s not to like?

Four staff on desk at entry. One on phone. One on computer but no response. Finally.... Advert out front says happy hour. I turn up after 6pm . There was a table of people eating so I ordered a wine to sit in company, but was told to sit at a table outside in unprotected sun which at that time was still <30degC or sit in a small blacked out 'lounge' on my own. I opted to leave. Not a lot of empathy here! Ghastly lime green spot for bags by bathroom. Subtlety?

There was a jug to boil water. Shower worked well with good pressure. Adequate towels. Parking fine outside, others considering? Access from roundabout on entry. Missed entry, immediately after roundabout. Nothing a later U-turn can't fix. Not far by car from Biarritz...if you select car, not walk!

Motel style rooms so there isn’t the security of a corridor. Was round the back of the building and it isn’t connected to the reception building.

Very close to Biarritz airport and I DO mean very close. However, very few flights after about 8pm or before 7pm so not too drastic. Expensive breakfast which we declined and ate on the road,

It's a Campanille so don't expect luxury but I find them very convenient and this was one of the better ones. Good location for getting back on main road heading to Bordeaux or South to Spain. Beaches not too far way either. E Leclerc almost adjacent so handy for cheap fuel and stocking up with supplies. Restaurant was welcome after a 500+ mile drive from Portugal, food was OK too. Good wi-fi. Plentiful parking.

The fold out kids need we had in one room wasn't great and was clearly quite dated, as were other parts of the room (not the bed, that was lovely!) and the room was quite noisy, largely because of the American motel style of the rooms. Flights from Biarritz airport (literally over the road) start at about six am so don't stay here if you want a lie in! (Or bring ear plugs). It's clearly a 'stopover' hotel, and was for us on a road trip, so don't look at the prices and be tempted to stay for a week for a holiday here essentially.

Literally the most comfortable bed you could want and finally two decent pillows (actually the best I've found in over 100 hotels across Europe, bravo Campanile!) Good storage and a decent shower. Food at the restaurant was good quality. Fabulous as a stop over, get a night's sleep hotel. Plenty of easily accessible parking

140 euros half board but extra charged for dessert. One glass wine each included which is great but you pay full price if you buy a bottle instead. Overall good value and right near motorway

Silly thing really, Fish & Chips on the menu but came with no chips! Loads of green beans and a few salad leaves though. I did query it but was told it didn’t come with chips.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable and all the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good.
