We arrived late and our credit card payment had failed. The room had been kept for us and the greeting couldn’t have been friendlier. The breakfast was excellent.

The room was very tired looking and basic. The carpet was filthy. It seems to be used by a lot of tradesmen on over night stays. Luckily we were up and out before them as I would assume it would be noisy in the morning with them all leaving in their vans.

This was a last minute booking just to get our heads down for the night as we were passing nearby. The staff were very friendly on arrival and check in was quick and easy. Quite location. .

The only thing we didn't like is that most hotels use synthetic duvets. They suffocate your body and make you feel too warm in bed. But I guess that is personal preference.

This Campanille has been refurbished fantastically recently. Very clean and modern styled rooms. Nice french touches in art and it is great to have silence and airconditioning at night. Safe parking. Good wifi. The breakfast is absolutely worth the money, fresh varieties of products. The staff is very kind and gives you attention if needed. This hotel deserves a higher rating! We will return.

I booked through booking.com and I was staying a night because my partner and I were passing through and just wanted to crash for the night. I am a genius member so I get a few perks and this hotel was part of that. I booked and immediately messaged that we would be arriving in 15 min on booking. However, I got no reply. After this, we decided to still go because I booked. So upon arriving at the place the staff (a male, race black, around the age of 50-70) informed us that he has no room availability. My partner told him we had a reservation. Upon hearing this he let us in (which was nice I guess) then he informed us he is not staff but a security guard and he could not check us in because he couldn’t find us in the system. Although I showed him multiple times my reservation he still made us wait almost 1 hour before he got a call to allow us to check us in. By this point it was already almost 1.00 am (we arrived a little before 00.00 at the reception desk). He did not find my reservation on booking but I had to write my name and lastname and a copy of my ID (which is common and lawful). The amenities were good and everything was up to par so definitely would recommend this place. However because we were driving to Spain we wanted to go early in the morning, and thus went to check out. We got the same security man at the desk. He would not allow us to leave. He accused my partner of us wanting to leave without paying. I understood that through booking I am paying for the reservation so I was concerned that I would be double charged if I pay at the desk. I asked the lady this question “if I pay by card now is it okay?” She simply answered very rudely “not it is not okay”. I was confused but also taken aback because I did not understand why she was being hostile if I was just trying to come up with a solution and also just trying to pay for the room. However, after saying that. The lady (the real receptionist) got the atm machine and charged my card.

Price for money was good, room was clean and amenities were good too

Very old Towels were not properly fresh I did not took a shower. Too noisy in the night.

Room was very noisy from occupants upstairs. No heating during our stay, towels didn’t dry well as no bathroom heating & smelt musty. It was awful. Under the flight path of airport so plane noise was very noticeable.

Had good parking. Breakfast was well set out.

The breakfast was non existent. We arrived for breakfast early before 8am. There was practically NO breakfast left, with items having run out. Every table was dirty and remained so even after our comments to the reception. The receptionist (morning of 12 May) was rude and not available at first for clients as he was outside vapping. When we enquired to breakfast items he basically said nothing available. He would not refund us for the NON breakfast. He was rude and on his phone when many guest complained, telling us we were not his manager. He had a terrible attitude to his work.

Very little. Run down and the photos need updating to show the real pictures of today. On arrival the staff member was helpful enough.

A lovely member of staff to greet us on arrival, even though it was 11.30pm after a full day of travelling. There were snacks and drinks available in the Reception area as well as tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable bed.

Breakfast has little variety. It is kind of old. It didn't feel clean. Although it is less than 3km from Campanile Villejust, it is significantly worse in every aspect.

It is a Campanile, just on the low range. Bed was comfortable.
