How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewJust returned from a week Camping le parc de Paris with my family of 10. We had an 8 person lodge with a jacuzzi and a small 2 person lodge. They were clean and very comfortable cabins and had some lovely touches with toiletries and a kitchen kit. Had everything we needed for the week. Would definitely return.
The small cabin did not come with bed linen, we had to go reception to collect some.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work. I asked at the desk five days running no one helped. Also the automated gate never opened for my car. I asked the desk five days in a row and never got sorted so got locked out. I had to park my car outside several nights very annoying.

Being located in the countryside, the connection is not always optimal and can vary depending on the area of the site, which can indeed be inconvenient. As for the automatic gate, we sometimes encounter issues with certain foreign license plates. Your feedback is well noted and we will work on improving this point as quickly as possible to avoid it happening again. We are truly sorry that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Had to share a double bed with my grandson - pillows weren’t great and food availability from both restaurant and onsite shop was limited

Verified reviewStaff were very friendly and helpful. We used it as a base to explore Paris and go to Disneyland so didn't really use the facilities. The chalet was lovely and we had our own balcony and air conditioning which was very much needed.

The site in general was a bit scruffy it needs a lot of tidying up, the area outside the restaurant was a mess and uninviting, there was weeds everywhere. I didnt agree with the rule of cleaning our lodge before leaving, if site doesnt have a cleaner clean it properly it means new guests are relying on the previous guest to do a good job, that isnt acceptable. There isnt a mop provided in the lodge so i couldnt mop the floors before leaving, We brought our own bedding and so glad we did as the pillows that were provided were too small and flat. They dont provide towels...luckily we brought our own. There is no cheese grater or collinder for draining pasta or veg.

As in all campsites in France, guests are asked to leave their accommodation in a clean state before departure: sweep the floor, take out the trash, and do the dishes — which is actually why we don’t provide a mop! Of course, our cleaning staff always comes in between stays, and we never leave everything for the previous guest to handle. Regarding towels, they are available for an extra charge, as is common in many campsites. We also provide colanders and other kitchen accessories upon request at the reception, and we would have been happy to assist you if you had asked. We hope that despite these points, you were able to enjoy our facilities and the pool, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for a future stay. Verified reviewThe pool area was great for adults and kids. My son loved the water slides and indoor pool was excellent for my youngest who is only 3. The staff were all really friendly and the kids loved the activities like the crazy pool and entertainment. We ended up booking day tickets to Disney and the location was great for this, only a 25 minute drive away. We were a little worried after reading some of the other reviews but really had no issues. The accommodation was very clean and exactly as described. The air conditioning also came in handy during the heatwave!
The onsite shop was a little small and the shop and bar were maybe a bit on the expensive side. As we had a car a quick trip to the local supermarket, only 10 minutes away, wasn't really a problem.

Verified reviewStaff were very pleasant and helpful! The room was a good size with a cosy vibe. The pool area was great for the kids and the indoor pool allowed them to get away from the heat for a little bit. They also provided games in the indoor pool which both the adults and kids got involved.
The rule of no shoes inside the pool area wasn't ideal and the fact no drinks were allowed which meant we had to take them out of the area even for a drink of water. The walk up the bank was difficult for some members in our group a couple had mobility issues but i did not specify this so it was no fault of the site but there were also no warinings or images of this when booking. Other than that everything was great!
