Ideal for overnighting but a little remote!

It was set in a very nice area the accommodation was good and provided for most of our needs however the weather curtailed us going out for a meal in the evening and there was nothing on site or close by.

The breakfast was superb, really high quality food and the host was very welcoming, attentive and generous with his time. The hotel was set in stunning gardens, there were so many really beautiful trees, it was such a quiet, peaceful place. We'd definitely go there again.

Our only issue was trying to get the room cool enough at night. Since there is no air conditioning, the only way to cool the room is by opening windows and doors. We stayed here for three nights in mid-August. The first night was actually cool enough that my wife needed a sweater outdoors. So that night we were perfectly comfortable. Our last day was hot and humid reaching over 30 degrees celsius (86 fahrenheit). Even with the windows open, it was too warm to sleep comfortably for the first couple of hours. The second night was somewhere in between, but mostly comfortable. There are probably only a few nights a year where this could be an issue. For those nights, I think a small oscillating fan could be helpful to pull in cooler air and circulate it. I only bring this up for your awareness. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again!

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful. Room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking space. Nice breakfast, Chilled bottles of water. Very peaceful and charming place.

After consulting with the host, I arrived later than usual, nevertheless I was met with a warm welcome. The host took the time to explain local places of interest and even some places for me to go running. Breakfast was good, and was relaxed providing a great opportunity for friendly discussion with other guests and the host.

Such a beautiful place to stay, very clean and our hosts were so friendly and welcoming - making us feel like visiting friends! Lovely room, very clean and spacious and a great place to unwind after a long drive before our onward travel from Roscoff the following day. The breakfast was lovely, fresh produce from the local boulangerie with explanations on what each bread/ pastry was and how it is best enjoyed. We will certainly recommend a stay here and will be staying again - a lovely way to end our holiday in France :-)

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like - I guess the only niggle would be that it is in the middle of nowhere so you would need transport to get there.

Lovely peaceful location, the owners were very hospitable and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice too.

La Canopee is in a secluded location surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. The rooms have been carefully designed to provide comfortable and flexible accommodation. The owner Thierry and his wife made us feel very welcome. Thierry kindly booked a table for us at Creperie La Denteliere where we had an excellent meal. Breakfast was lovely with a range of local delicacies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Canopee.

We liked everything !

A beautiful property, very tastefully decorated and we all slept so well in the super comfy beds. They were very accommodating of our little ones providing a cot and high chair. The breakfast was lovely, stunning gardens. A very peaceful setting just wish we had been able to stay for longer.
