- there is a mouldy smell in the floor ground - Breakfast is French style- ham/cheese/vegetable might be also a good option for breakfast

- view ist absolutely stunning: just beneath the glacier/ big mountains - cute little room with wooden walls and nicely decorated - price ok for Charmonix - by car you quickly reach Le Houches/ Charmonix etc for awesome restaurants/ supermarktes - kitchen and kitchen interieur available for cooking - nice apartment and personal atmosphere - easy self-check-in

It is a bit of a walk to the train station.

It is am quiet neighbourhood and the room is big. The bathroom is clean enough and the kitchen is useful to cook in.

Great hosts. Phil was very informative, witty, and gave great advice on places to go. The view out my window to Mont Blanc and the glacier was unforgettable. Good vibe as a solo traveler, and it's a spot where you can meet ski/ride buddies to explore with.

I don’t have anything to complain about.

I felt like home. Is a cute and comfy chalet in Chamonix. You can have a great breakfast before your city tour or skying. The house is not so close to the center os the city but it has a bus stop in the front os the house, so it’s easy to get there!

I would have liked more communication face to face with the hosts on arrival. I know that a lot of information is given via email but I feel that the older generation really benefit from the personal touch.

Cozy mountain chalet. Great showers and breakfast. It was lovely to meet the other guests over breakfast. Bus stop to Chamonix and ski hills right outside the chalet.

Location where property is situated required taxi for us to get to proving to be quite costly. Bus access is some distance away and not suitable for suitcases to carry. Fine if just carrying a light bag.

This was the perfect home base for a few days solo in Chamonix! The view was phenomenal (I stayed in the small double room with doors to the terrace), the bed was comfortable, and it was super easy to take the bus (and walk) to and from town. I slept in, so I didn’t partake in breakfast, but it always smelled great. Phil was very nice, and it was interesting to hear his perspective on living in this phenomenal place. They do what they do very well, and it’s wonderful to have a pretty, comfortable, and affordable spot to sleep in this expensive, crowded valley. Other reviewers have noted that it doesn’t have a hotel vibe, but that is clearly advertised and is part of the charm.
