A few more amenities in the shared kitchen and use of a washing machine would have been good.

Beautiful nature and the views to the mountains, very peaceful location (unless guests arrive at 1 am and talk loudly/bang the doors). Delicious croissants and warm baguette for breakfast (you must bring your own cheese though)

Foul smell on the ground floor and downstairs bedrooms, probably from rubbish not taken out daily. Communal areas are not tidied or maintained regularly and dilapidated/dirty/cluttered. Towels have seen The Beatles performing live. hand is wash diluted until it becomes basically water. Hotel information sheet is out of date. Could be a very nice place with a little care and pride, but more of a youth hostel, where the clientele pays very little and don't grumble too much. No "quiet time" policy, so loud talking/door banging around the clock

B&B Description Guests are welcome to stay in a cozy room with access to a shared bathroom. Free parking is available on the property. Phil and Michelle were really warm and chatty and lovely to get along with, the optional communal breakfasts were really welcoming amd a lovely start to the day. Also having the guests kitchen was great for meals / snacks/ hot drinks etc. Highly recommend the chalet and hosts as really laid back and a perfect place to enjoy the valley from. Excellent value for money too.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean too. Breakfast was good, cereal/yoghurt/pastries/bread. The host Phil was very friendly and helpful with the bus timetables and ski info, and was kind enough to do breakfast a little early so we could catch the bus in time for the first ski lift. Communal kitchen had everything you needed to whip up a packed lunch or an easy evening meal and was always kept tidy. The chalet is away from the hustle and bustle which was perfect for us and the location is super quiet at night. Bus took around 25 mins to get to Chamonix centre, Brevent/Flegere gondola takes 30/40 mins and le tour was a bit further.

I had a fantastic stay at a chalet in Chamonix, France. The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning, making for a picturesque and peaceful getaway. Getting around was incredibly easy thanks to the convenient public transportation options nearby. The host, Phil, was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing a delicious breakfast each morning that made the stay even more enjoyable. His hospitality and local recommendations added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chamonix.
