A lovely stay in a beautiful property in the Loire countryside. Antoine is an excellent host and dinner and breakfast were both fantastic. You won’t go hungry at Antoines home!!! Would definitely stay again.

We were happy with everything.

Every once in a while, you stumble upon a true hidden gem—and this was ours. The owner greeted us upon arrival and kindly accommodated an early check-in since we had tickets for an afternoon event. That evening, we joined other guests for a phenomenal homemade dinner prepared by Antoine (the owner), which made for a delicious and lively night. Breakfast the next morning—fresh juice, coffee, pastries, and more—was just as perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the powerful, ice-cold AC was an absolute bonus.

There's nothing we didn't like personally but just to be mindful that it's an old set of buildings with all the typical foibles of uneven floors and steps in unusual places.

Lovely old farmhouse that has been beautifully renovated to a high standard. Extremely comfortable beds, amazing, copious breakfast. Antoine is a very attentive and engaged host who works very hard to make his guests happy.

Excellent stay at Le Clos! We slept at L'Ecurie and La Bergerie, it was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. The rooms were charming, clean and the beds very comfy. But the best was the diner and the breakfast. It's obvious Antoine is a passionate gastronome and we enjoyed his generous cooking as well as his warm conversation. We'll definitely come back.

This was not an issue for me, but others may find it an issue: the wifi could not penetrate to our room.

The bed and breakfast more than met my expectations. It was in very quiet and beautiful farmland overlooking the valley below. The breakfast was ample with a large variety of different and high quality breads/baked goods, cheeses, meats and homemade preserves. The beds were very comfortable, and despite the heat of the day, the temperature of the rooms were pleasant. The central location to a number of different chateaus and other sites made it an ideal location.

The place is a typical old cottage house from the region, nested in a pretty garden, and decorated with taste. 10mn from Amboise and perfect spot to visit all the Loire castels (Chambord etc). Gorgeous breakfast and lovely host with a great cultural and international background. We took the room accommodating 5 beds which is actually an entire floor on top of the breakfast area, with two big rooms, one newly refurbished bathroom and one extra toilet next to the double room. We came over for a weekend with foreign friends and our kids, and will definitely come back.

no A/C, but there were fans. the attic got pretty warm, but downstairs stayed pretty cool.

we stayed in the “Goat Cottage” which was a converted goat stall. very nice ambiance. private bath, 1 queen bed downstairs and 2 singles in “attic”. almost like a loft. ladder stairs to attic, so not for mobility impaired unless only staying on the ground floor. If you want dinner at the property you have to reserve in advance. I highly recommend it. we didn’t know and therefore missed out, but Antoine is a very nice host, and he seems to really love cooking. we had the included breakfast and he had all kinds of home made food. The jams were AMAZING! the cheeses were amazing as well. Our dog was more than welcome (even in the breakfast at room), and the host speaks excellent English. the property is just outside (driving distance) Amboise. it was quiet and peaceful.
